True enough Doc - the lollipop scorpions are specifically bred, raised, and harvested to avoid things like venom and parasites.

The things I've eaten in China..

Luckily, I've got not idea of what they were for a quarter of the foods. However I did know of the fried cow intestines, frogs, chicken head soup and then some. I hope the rat-sticks were rat and not some odd creature.

P.S. Pak-Choi and pork-belly & cauliflower are now integral part of my cuisine
