Truck on start up gives the following faults:
- service advancetrac
- hill start assistance fault
- pre collision assistance fault
- service steering
- low tire pressure (this one is international)
The app gives me the following faults:
- electronic power steering has detected a fault.
- hill start assistance has detected a fault
- collision warning system has detected a fault or obstructed sensor
Truck while driving intermittently goes into some kind of electrical limp mode, reduces the fans and I think reduced the brightness of the screen. I forgot the error it gave.
No power steering. At first I thought it was some loose fuses which was just a coincidence. Power steering came back but then at next start up went bad again.
I’m in the middle of a national forest and at minimum 30 miles from the closest human. A tow truck likely couldn’t get here since we did some minor rock crawling. I can probably get the truck home, but we’ll be here until Sunday so any help is appreciated. We have tools but no code reader.
I do have a bunch of electrical auxiliary's stuff hooked up but I don’t think there’s a ground short anywhere. I checked all the wires.
