They could have powder coated the hardware instead of leaving bare metal. I may take the time to paint everything black or (N6) PTM the pieces.

the "tree fiddy" plus install was a joke, but if it had been an internal spring type thing, it might have been right.

EDIT: and to be fair, I don't think anyone was complaining about the price, just that it's not black which we we're talking about fixing on our own.

I’m not unhappy or complaining, just stating my opinion. I don’t have a prob painting those parts on my dime either. I just have “Ranger Pride” and want it look better.

So what is wrong with Chromed mounting hardware. Sure less likely to rust or scrape than painted raw metal. Just saying.. And I know it's to each his own!
