A throttle reset does wonders too.Installed a Pedal Commander today and couldn't be happier with the results.

The throttle pedal always felt weird to me and it seemed to do it's own thing sometimes. I was always pressing the gas more and more while accelerating to get the truck up to speed which never seemed to play well with the already weird shifting behavior of the transmission. Now you press the pedal a little bit and she goes!
Holy shit, I am so tired of this conversation. A throttle commander does not give you more power, it does, however adjust the way the throttle input is received by the truck and changes the way the truck responds to the throttle inputs. On a Dino, power output will be exactly the same with and without the throttle adjuster However, the response changes greatly with the throttle adjuster. It’s not magic, but drive-by wire doesn’t take input in a one to one ratio this adjusts the ratio in which the throttle petal adjust the butterfly to allow air in the engine. As long as you’re not expecting major power games, this is a good modification to make. If you don’t believe me, come out here I will take you for a drive and I will adjust the throttle while you’re driving it and you will be able to tell a difference immediately.Be Careful ..
These were explained to me like a quick turn throttle mod for a motorcycle. Instead of a 3/8 to half turn the wrist it shortens the amount of turn to about a 1/8 to a quarter turn of the wrist.. basically.. no new power just less press of the pedal to tell the robots in control “oh he wants WOT” at about half the pedal input… or are the throttle inputs on our trucks neutered in a way and these little dohickies can fix that..? (Meaning if I press the throttle all the way is wot the same with or without.?)Holy shit, I am so tired of this conversation. Good luck and let us know. I'd certainly expect that's covered with your ESP.2019 with 39k. I have an extended warranty I'll be trying out.
While I was looking for problems, I pulled the plugs. No rusty, siezed plugs though this Ranger has lived it's life outside since I've had it.
Thanks, and no, haven't done any jumps in it. Though some of the potholes are pretty big. Thats when I realized it may be broken, clunks over potholes I couldn't avoid. Goes in tomorrow. Surprised the dealer could get me in that quick as the last time I couldn't get an appointment for a battery replacement under warranty, for a month.Good luck and let us know. I'd certainly expect that's covered with your ESP.
As long as this wasn't your Ranger in disguise a few weekends back:

This is exactly what it does. Most people don't know what a 'quick turn' mod is.These were explained to me like a quick turn throttle mod for a motorcycle. True most probably don’t? but it worked well for me to understand… only did it on my bike so I didn’t have to overreach on the grip.. I’ll most likely pass on a pedal commander type deally.. I don’t have any issue pressing my foot down… if it actually programmed the wot to wider opened throttle that would make more sense to me… thank you for the clarification. This is exactly what it does. Most people don't know what a 'quick turn' mod is.
If you make it to Denver, you can drive my truck. When you’re just hanging out, maintaining a speed I’ll make it change on you with the throttle Commander because it connects to my phone via Bluetooth, and you’ll see there’s a big difference.True most probably don’t? but it worked well for me to understand… only did it on my bike so I didn’t have to overreach on the grip.. I’ll definitely keep that in mind… now just need to convince the wifey we gotta take a little vacation road trip ?If you make it to Denver, you can drive my truck. This was just an FYI..I did not mean to offend..I know they work !Holy shit, I am so tired of this conversation.
