I just found these brackets. I think I can bend them into the shape I want. They're $12 so who cares if I ruin them. If it works the way I hope,,, I'll be able to stack my light pods low & tight to each other. My next question would be,,, should I offset the top light of simply stack it straight above the bottom light ? A, B, or C ? "A" was my 1st choice. My pods will have the ability to side 1" to either side of the bracket.

And need tires and rear rotors and pads.
At least I know what that occasional clunk is now.
Time to try out the extended warranty.

Yikes! In the late '80s, I broke both front leafsprings on my FJ40. I welded some stock on each and it's still going strong.

BUT it was not at the mounting point, like yours. =(

I can't tell if you're in warranty (on phone and too lazy), but hope you are.

I like the duct tape idea.....perfect reason to always carry a roll with you.
Clamps probably weren't even necessary......

I know its a 2024, but this forum is so much better than the others, dare to say more knowledgeable as well.

Well, it's not what i did to my Ranger, but what my Ranger is telling me.
I noted a very small drop of oil on my garage floor, well the Stock RF shock is leaking.
I already have the 4600's on the rear, so it's time to make them match.
I only have 19k on the truck so within warranty, but I wanted to upgrade the fronts anyway.
I am happy with the stock level and do not tow, even if I did it would not be extreme - small trailer etc.
So, its decision time, make them match or install the 5100's in the front for the (optional) lift in the future.
Of course they would have to come back out for that

A few days ago, driving at night - I hit a pothole, I think that's what caused it to blow the seal.
I don’t think you could go wrong either way. I installed 4600s around 2,000 miles on my 2023 fx4. Once apart I could see one of the factory fronts was already leaking! Sadly, just cheap junk installed at the factory.

Are you talking about the rezeppa joint on the front of the rear diff? it's what the drive shaft is linked to from the front

That?

Rezeppa joint? Googling now. That is a wierd drive shaft.
It's not the shaft, it's just the joint where the shaft meets the pinion bearings and all that neat stuff on the leading edge of the rear differential.

This was initially a Tremor only item then it became a TSB fix for rear driveshaft issues and they started installing them on problem vehicles that were brought in for warranty work. I'm not surprised it's standard on the 24+ model years.

2019 with 39k. I have an extended warranty I'll be trying out.
While I was looking for problems, I pulled the plugs. No rusty, siezed plugs though this Ranger has lived it's life outside since I've had it.
