Alright, when is the next time you need to put 800 lbs in the bed? It will let you know what it would look like in person with the rear lowered. Just a thought.

A front leveling kit provides the best appearance enhancement when appearance matters more than off-road ability. The modification provides your Ranger vehicle with balanced appearance without changing its ride performance. People prefer lifting the front tires for a factory-modified appearance as an alternative to lowering the back tires.

Perhaps that depends on the type of kit. The one I had installed did 2 things...brought the front up 2" and completely changed the ride and handling for the better.

I have after market everything, so I am not abusing a stock truck LOL
weekly I haul pretty big loads, Sat. I had 1200 lbs in the bed making me 6200 lbs over all
the 8 Telco batteries I am bringing back from Syracuse next week again weigh is 110 lbs each
I have had 14 of them in the bed, yes thats 3/4 ton, and I got 17mpg doing it
they were laughing when they loaded it saying it took them 3 trips in their Toyota

I loaded 900lbs of sand in my 4G Ranger 4x4 Edge. The fellow loading told me it may weigh as much as 1200 lbs due to the sand being wet. It was lifted in with a fork lift. Made 2 runs with that load. Truck sat level and drove fine. Stopping distance was a little longer, but nothing dangerous. If my 4G could do it, I'm sure my 5G is more than capable!

Tough little trucks!

Leave as is. I like the factory look. You can still have it look unique with everyone else changing theirs.
