Duke - who gonna win Thursday night ? When I lived in Denver I'd occasionally go to Avalanche games - never seen a guy skate like Nathan Mackinnon, I don't follow hockey much anymore but plan on watching Thursday. Growing up in Western NY played club hockey, hockey is so much more fun to play than spectate. Played some on the same rink that a young Patrick Kane played on , but 55 yrs ago it was still an outdoor rink.

Spot on. My mechanical knowledge is from a time when I can't tell you how many times I polished the points of a magneto on my Sportster with a matchbook cover and gapped its plugs by doubling the matchbook cover over. I know coil, condenser, points, distributer, carburator, engine. I figure I am way ahead because I know what where the ECU is on my 1986 BMW K100.
What year Sportster? I have a '95 and although it has no points, it's still very simple to work on. Had it for over 20 years and runs like a top.

It had a serial number indicating it was one of the first 3000 sportster engines built. As I remember, it was a 1957 that was used by a dirt racer before I bought it in 1971. It had been bored out 0.060 thousandths and the heads were polished and ported. I put a 1.75 inch British SU carburetor on it and a magneto, with a big capacitor to smooth out the flickering from the generator so the lights would work. It ran like turpentine on a cats ass. I eventually got tired of the sound and fury and sold it and bought a 1986 BMW K100 that I have today. It runs good too and is easier on my back.

Well, without question I’m routing rooting ? for Team Canada. We’ll see.

Some guys are just so fast on the ice, it’s like the goalies can’t get ready quickly enough for them. I never played any organized hockey but spent time at the local outdoor rinks as a kid - couldn’t afford equipment, just gloves, a stick, and a puck. Dull skate blades, freezing toes, cheap plastic replacement hockey stick blade, shooting a puck at the boards or an empty net. Good times. ?

I never signed up with a cable TV provider when I moved into my new place and have been getting along fine with Fire TV - unfortunately, the “free” apps from the networks broadcasting the game here don’t include this, as well as other events and programs. I could get an over-the-air antenna and be fine. I might watch it, I might not. ?‍♂

The whole point of using an acronym is so you don't have to spell everything out.

AFAIK you can look everything up on the internet.

FTW ... @DukeCanBuildit ?

Here's a small list to get you started:

I read somewhere an older person texted someone saying "sorry your dad passed....LOL"

Some one asked her what she thought LOL means an she said "lots of love"

You have to remember, this guy was a Marine! He already has trouble with 3rd Grade!
Only cause he kept getting into trouble for eating the crayons.

I forgot there is a difference between age and maturity. Some of this group will never be mature no matter how old they got. ?
Why thank you!
