the mich ltx tires are excellent. they ride nice and cushy make no noise and last a long time. i used those on my heavier trucks in the past. they were not cheap but well worth the price.

If I remember correctly, Costco will not put new tires on a vehicle other than what is considered stock and as indicated on the driver side door frame. Of course, memory is the second thing to go, and I can't remember the first. Good luck on your decision.

ive heard the same. neither will sams club. @Discount Tire will but not with an online order. the webpage seems to want to force you to enter a make model etc. idk why that page keeps saying that 44 inch tsl tires will not fit my 5g... i got after market crash bars come on lol.

I purchased the BF Goodrich KO2’s for looks and function. They did great in our last snowstorm here in Minnesota, and they look great! Road noise and fuel efficiency were not enough of a deterrent for me. It’s my truck and I want it to look and feel like a truck! No regrets after 7,000 miles on them. Plus, I have to compete with my wife’s Jeep Wrangler for looks, appearance, and functionality! She still won!

if someone is looking for 265 70 17 bfg ko2 let me know lol. i have seven of them. one brand new never on ground bought as spare. two that were used about 10k miles. 2 that i would say are good as future spares with 40k on them and two with 20 k on them. long story how it got like that lol. but all are in good shape. been rotated regularly at discount tire. so more than enough to get four on the ground with plenty of meat left, and have spares. im wanting to go up to a 33 inch tire. so id make someone a good deal on these.

They are Light Truck tires, but still the same size as O.E.M. - LT 265/65R17. I purchased them at Discount Tire because they have always taken care of me. Discount Tire recommended 40 psi due to the 10-ply sidewalls. I contacted BF Goodrich and they recommended 38 psi., so that is what I run. Chalk test verified 38 psi. Added road noise is negligible and does not bother me at all. My guess is fuel mileage went down slightly, but it's hard to tell because it's winter in Minnesota and sometimes I warm my vehicle up for three or four minutes just before I leave work. My garage is heated. I'm not worried about fuel mileage because it's a truck so it's not going to get the same fuel mileage as a Toyota Corolla or something like that. At the end of the day, it's not a "Make or Break" deal. I wanted a tire that looks nice and performs well too. I don't off-road so I didn't "Need" the BF Goodrich tires, but I "Wanted" them. Would an all-season tire been better in our Minnesota winters, maybe, but in a foot of snow, I did not get stuck and my Ranger did just fine. The speedometer is still spot on and I have enjoyed the tires and love my Ranger!
Thank you for your business and support, we greatly appreciate it.

As long as a tire meets the load and rim width requirements, Discount Tire will install tires that are not listed on the door placard. Many lifted vehicles require larger tires and Discount Tire will happily mount them as long as they meet fitment and are safe.

the first number is how wide (tread on the ground) I am in Mud and snow a lot so I like wide, the second number is percent tall of how wide, like 285 cm / 70% the last number is Rim size

Don't forget about the Firestone Destination LE3. When compared to a non LT Michelin(Firestone is not LT) it is 3 LBS Lighter and that will also help with MOG a little bit. It is also rated for 70,000 miles as well
Interesting. I have the 255/65/17 duelers on my 2020 and looking to switch to 265/70/17 destination AT2… the dealer said that if I have any trans related issues the warranties most likely won’t cover it being they are what is listed in the door… true/false?

good news on the speedo being spot on… I hear you lose 2-3 the faster you go. Aka 60 = 65ish
