It's been rainy and is going to be for awhile so it's not very clean.

Looks great, man, and I am glad to hear that you are getting a more stable ride. To clarify, this is the Ford-branded Fox two-inch leveling kit that you put in? And the local shop, was it a Ford dealer or another outfit entirely?

Hey Marc, It sounds like that he did not do the Ford performance fox setup through a dealership. Just my thoughts.

I hear you, man, I am six foot three and so have so problem getting in and out of the Ranger, but I inevitably come down on the left side of the seats first before getting settled. This is going to happen thousands of times with my 185 pounds over the coming years, and it has to wear down the covering and upholstery. With a handle like the one on the passenger's side , we could lift ourselves over and plunk down evenly from the get-go!
I can’t seem to find a way either. With the steps I can get over the edge of the seat but it is way too awkward to try and use the step to get out.

Yeah, Tod, that is my impression as well, I just wanted to get a confirmation. It seems like nobody has the Ford Performance Foxes installed yet, which makes sense, since they have just come out. Still, any day now....

Hey, Adam, same with me. I put the Ford-branded running boards on for my wife's benefit on the passenger's side, but of course they come in pairs, and so one is one my side as well. I have tried stepping up with and without it, but either way is awkward and puts way too much pressure on the left side of the seat. I keep thinking that one day I will discover the perfect maneuver for slipping right up and in evenly across the seat, but I have not found it yet!

It's the Fox setup. I didn't buy it through the dealership but from Stage3. By all accounts I've found it's the same as the dealership one.

Thanks, Petulant Skeptic (hey, great name, by the way), for clarifying this point. My understanding is that the Fox kit through Stage Three is either exactly the same or very, very close to what we will be getting through Ford Performance. I looked into the Fox Kit from Stage Three and other aftermarket vendors and talked about the options with my local shop, but I finally decided to go through Ford, mainly to protect the warranties. Happy Trails!

Well gents (and ladies) they have finally arrived!!

I'll try to put them on this weekend, but it's supposed to rain. :( If not, it'll be next week.

Enjoy the pics for now (uploaded from my phone, so excuse the formatting) Also, if you want specific pics, let me know.

Kazoo and whiskey bottle for scale with front coilovers, they are huge. :)

Excellent!

A couple of requests - please measure actual lift, front and back, referencing distance from hub-center to top of wheel-opening. I'm also interested in learning if the FX-float goes away with these installed.

Thanks.

Distance unsprung or once the truck has settled?

The Fox manual in your picture (including part #s) is identical to the one that came with my kit from Stage3. Only difference is the sticker on the side.

Settled, before and after, please. I just picked up my truck yesterday, and boy does it float and wobble all over the place... I'm looking for solutions to stabilize it a bit. Extra ground-clearance is also good, but not if it gets even more tippy.

Thanks!

I'm interested to know whether it can actually achieve the 3" lift that they claim it can. I am really on the fence between Icon and this.
