Well... proof of concept. Wolfbox is mounted on the OE mirror mount. I'll see how it holds up over a bit of time. I also have a buddy looking to reverse engineer the OE mount and make a mount for my mirror and Icom 2730 head. As of now, I had to move the head down because the Wolfbox sits a bit higher than the OE mirror.
This is not a a mod for the faint of heart. Once you take apart the OE mirror, you have to buy a new one to replace it.

Yesterday I installed new headlights. Chose the Anzo LED ones on black Friday because someone here could not keep that deal to themself, then that led me to getting the LED fog lights too, that I already installed, but they got here a week before the headlights.
I mentioned before about fixing the sealing of the Anzo kits plugs, at least where it plugs into the truck's EO harness. So here it is, the yellow wire is not part of the Anzo kit.
Of course, no job can be easy when I'm doing it.
I only use hand tools and that was removing it from the truck when I was getting started.

The plug is not weatherproof with an opening where a wire should be to fill the hole. Last thing I want is water getting into the plug and the pins on the truck's harness corroding.

I got the Wolfbox wired up last night. I've got the camera mounted on the topper. I'll drive it today and see if I like the location. If I do, I will be wiring it up better, as the wires are just zip tied to the roof right now.

I need to research and see if I can make a second camera work with the WB. There used to be a company who made a front camera for the OE head unit, but they don't make them anymore...

The company I saw makes them for rv's and rigs... They are in the thousands... Would be great if they would make one that just plugs into the mirror - don't they make one that has a bed camera... Hrmmmm

oldered a set of NGK plugs and DPFE today. . . running errands this morning at WOT it bucked and surged like it was going to explode - CEL and P0301 code popped . . . it runs fine at <75% WOT guess I 'll be getting good gas mileage while waiting for my parts. lol

It was a bit scary, I throttled down to pass a lady on 104th near sheridan and the entire truck started to rock. I was like oh shit, is this how the trans feels when it really grenades itself. . . ?

Got some fancy new Cooper Road & Trail tires at @Discount Tire Went up a size to 265/65/18 and bought a cheap rim to stick the Hankook on as a spare. Tread was still pretty good at 37k. Great service as always. Tires look badass but I expect a MPG hit, hopefully not much. Just in time for a wet Oregon winter!
