I believe in preserving my truck's finish with a protective layer of dirt. ?

Self-applying, self-maintaining, and always in style.

On a side note, I generally don't really care what color my vehicle is (except black. I'll never own another black vehicle) but it turns out that the white does a great job of not looking very dirty even when it's dirty.

Silver does a great job at it too.
