Here's a pic of Cheech that fits you, or at least the smile I get from you. Thank you for your kind words. =)

David,
Really sorry to hear about the loss of Cheech... ?
Was this smile before or after a dump run?

That's a great cartoon. Cheech used to fight bears (I assume) in his dreams, he'd get so animated and snarl and even open his eyes.

I sure do miss the little fart. =)

keeping an eye on a bunny - now he can chase them anytime he likes

Thank you, Fred. He was a good dog and loved going out in the Ranger. Here he is on a day kayaking trip being pretty mellow.

By the way, our dog before him was named Fred, it's a great name for wonderful dogs and awesome forum members.

Thank you again Fred, for your thoughts - it really helps. =)

Now that's the life! =)

I assume this is in Michigan? I spent my summers there as a kid - my grandmother had three farms, all leased to tomato growers and I sure have a lot of fond memories of Michigan.

Mostly near Marcellus with outings to Kalamazoo and Battle Creek (I still remember touring Kellogg's back in the day). =)

We have two Havanese. The black one (Lennox Louis) is 16 and hates to travel.
The brown one (Chip) is 6 and does ok in the truck but haven't taken him on a trip yet.
Don't know how he would handle it, but I will probably find out this spring.
The white one is my sister-in-law's, we just watched her for a week.

Yes! Michigan. Lake Macatawa and the channel out to Lake Michigan at Holland State Park. We usually camp there 3-4 times a summer. Only 40 minutes from home.

I really love Michigan and would love to retire to a rural location with enough space for a small shop and plenty of room for 4-legged friends. =)

And for others on the forum - Holland Michigan has a heated downtown! They use underground heating for sidewalks and parking lots. Hot water comes form their power plant.

That's the life! Man, oh, man, they look so content! Well done. =)

Cheech was always a nervous wreck in the truck. He'd settle down after an hour but would shake until he was worn out.

Still, he wanted to be with us and not left at home.

Thanks, he was a very special guy, just like anyone's furry friend. And it sure isn't easy for those goodbyes.

If I could get drunk on 303 Graphene, I'd be all set but ...

Sorry for your loss. We lost our 2 old girls last year and recently adopted a new girl. She's working on retraining us now. Nap time on the couch with our new couch potato. Boy are they a big part of a dog lovers life and hard to loose.
