Hello, the other evening I was on a road trip when I first received an Airbag light on the dash followed by a "Restraints Indicator Lamp Warning" message in the FordPass app. Soon after, my climate control turned off, and no physical buttons can turn it back on. The Sync page still allows me to open the climate page, but all buttons are grayed out and cannot be altered. Additionally, the audio/climate control buttons below the Sync module appear to have no power at all as they are not lit up. The radio can still be controlled from the steering wheel. Furthermore, the instrument cluster does not show any outside temperature now. The last thing I've been noticing is no auto start/ stop, and the button to engage or disengage this system has backlighting, but pushing it does nothing at all. Does anyone have any advice before I take it to the dealer to run up a less-than-ideal bill? Ive looked for anyone else this has happened to but have been unable to find a solution or similar situation. Thanks!

Fuse #12 (BCM) Fuse Box is - Blown - this ties to all (inop) functions (The FCIM-Which is the hard button interface - panel) If not blown then the panel has lost power feed.
Now why did is blow - needs to be T/Shot

How old is your battery?Maybe start by checking if it still good.
That was my first thought, but Airline Tech is probably onto to something.

So far I have checked every fuse along with disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery for about 15 minutes. I have also checked for any obvious loose connections. No solution yet, I will post any updates I have.

After reading codes - Perform a FCIM Self-Test (Reset) and see it if comes back (on)
then try a BCM Self-Test (Reset)
The FCIM is powered by the BCM Fuse #12, it interfaces with the APIM (Sync) via the MS-Can network - so your Touchscreen is only an interface to the physical hard buttons on the FCIM.
The FCIM is the primary control.
Now there are a number of other modules that interface (along the MS-Can network) so we need the codes to determine if you have lost the MS-Can network or just the FCIM Power.

If the Self-Tests do not help, then we need to pull the panel and check for power at the connector.
Yes - a low battery voltage can possibly induce this, and it may be stuck in a Load Shed Status, but it would have to been around 10 volts if it load shed the FCIM

What level of Sync Version are you on? - Should be 23188 (I believe is the current version)
This may be the issue as any previous version had issues of being unstable.
Just to confirm - you have the 8 in screen and Dual Auto Control for the HVAC.
And you used a test light or meter to physically check for power across Fuse 12 (BCM) Interior Fuse Box.

How did you check every fuse? I would replace the F12 fuse in the BCM module (fuse panel under the dash) if you don't have an ohmmeter to measure the fuse. Just looking at a fuse is difficult to see if it is blown.

I'll look up the self tests now. I did just finish pulling the panel apart. Upon visual inspections of the cables I do not see any burnt parts, broken or pinched cables. I am on the latest sync version available. I do have the 8 inch screen with dual zone. I'll go pickup a meter today to give it a test. All fuses appeared intact upon a visual inspection. I had also swapped #12 with a new one as a precaution.

Some code readers won't read Ford specific codes and may miss some codes. Are you using Forscan and a laptop for the codes or some other device? Forscan program will log all Ford DTC codes.

The self tests are done with a Scan Tool or Forscan.
It performs a module reboot , power up test and it will clear any locked in faults.
if it still sees any faults with the self test it will show the codes
