Went back to an F150 in August due to a planned upgrade to a larger TT.

So I joined the F150gen14 Forum and although it’s a very informative forum with great people like here. It’s no we’re near as fun. I have met several EXPATS from here on the forum.

i started a tail gate damper thread hoping to draw out their version of @arscorpion aka @AzScorpion aka DAVE but no avai.

This is a much more fun forum with great info. Keep up the great content.

Off to start a one piece drive shaft thread ????

I was wondering where you were? All the Pm's we shred and I come back and you disappeared.?

I guess it does make sense to get into a larger truck for towing your new TT but did you really think the F150 forum could compare to this one?‍♂ Hopefully you're enjoying both new toys and still come around here. Well, you will because all the other forums are boring compared to 5G!?

Good luck my Polish friend!

Oh, one more thing.....?

Lots going here Dave. my wife had knee replacement a few weeks ago so I’ve been busy helping her and basically doing everything. First World problems as we have great insurance and I know we’re lucky. I must say I’m enjoying the F150. It’s got the 3.5 Hybrid which I’m still trying to figure it out. I’m quickly adapting the Ronco Oven guy mantra, Set It and Forget It. Fords OTA updates is a mess. We got a smoking deal on a 23 Lariat Dealer Loaner with only 4100 miles on it. I’m just getting an update that was released in Dec of 23 ???? I plan to check in now and then as I also need to harass my friend in NH aka Northern Masshole aka @subquark ????

OH, please don’t add me to Elite Banned group, I’m just old dude that was raised middle class ????

Hopefully your wife gets better soon and you're very lucky to have good Insurance! I'm wondering if the F150 had the same software glitch (Sync3) like the one we had. Version 3.4.22251 had a known glitch and had several issues one being the location doesn't update. You have to update this one with a USB drive as OTA doesn't work. Before the update mine was still showing me parked in AZ 2 months after living here in AR. ?‍♂

A deal? I'd expect nothing less and would be embarrassed if you didn't get one. That's a key trait of being Polish.? Now we really do need to see pictures of the new toys. Seeing as the F150 has a stock damper maybe I'll forgo the ban hammer just this one time. ??

I joined the bronco forum an it's loaded with info but it's not fun like in here.

I'll never do anything close to a hardcore build so I might not fit their core subscriber model

Makes sense, as the Ranger is also a lot more fun to drive.
I would have to respectfully disagree....my 24 F-150 RCSB with the 5.0 is a HOOT to drive and has a 2" shorter wheelbase than my 19 Lariat SCrew had. And I used the Ford Performance "Lowering Kit" to bring the arse-end down from the stratosphere. It's only a 1.3/2.5" drop, but it looks waaaay better, but not as good as a 3/5 drop, but living in north Iowa, it needed to be practical too. Yes, I miss some of the bells and whistles like auto climate control, but I had to have more legroom. I definitely would join the F-150Gen14 forum if anyone else decides to defect from the Ranger to an F-150
