Ran across these while looking for headlights for my '19 XLT. They have a set of headlights that look very much like the Morimotos. Even the specs match up. Even show a 5 year warranty. They list for $1200, but Underland Offroad has them for $850 plus shipping.

Just wondering if anyone has used them or delt with Underland Offroad.

Hey Lee, I see you’re retired but if you’re looking for new headlights because you’re still allowed to drive at night, you might be too young to be on this forum.

Hey what’s up man. I bought my Kings 2.5s and Deaver Springs Pre-runner leaf pack from Underland Offroad and have nothing but kind things to say about Wyatt and his Dad (run the shop). Got my Adjustable King 2.5s Front/rear for $3,250 OTD which is pricing I haven’t found elsewhere. Hit them up ??

Thanks for the feedback. This was the first I have heard of them and was looking if anyone else had delt with them.

No problem! And I found them through Deaver Springs last year when I snapped my leaf spring and looking for a replacement other than OEM and Icon and Deaver makes an Expedition Leaf pack (overlanding) and Pre-Runner pack specifically for Underland Offroad ?? also, I have the Morimoto XB headlamps and was my second upgrade and probably top 3 that I’ve made. Pricy but well worth the investment.

Like I said, I just found them, looking at lights. The OLM ones they list look and sound very much like the Morimoto XB units. They have a very good price on them.

Well I pulled the trigger on the OLM lights from Underland Offroad. Got notice a little while ago that they have shipped and have a tracking number. Should be here mid next week. Will post when they show up. Then the fun starts.

They get really good reviews on the Colorado forum. So I decided to give it a try.

There's a bolt on the outside of the headlight that you can't get to unless you disassemble the front end ??? (I couldn't get to it otherwise)

Replaced mine with the AlphaRex Black headlights.

Set aside a day over the weekend to get it done ??

Good luck pulling apart and replacing your front end ?

Yeah I've seen multiple videos of how much you need to pull apart, hence the fun part. Luckily I'm retired so a day or even two apart is not a problem. ?

Well the OLM headlights showed up today. Very well packaged and no UPS damage. They are made in Taiwan.

Only issue is the instructions. A single page with multiple languages that doesn't seem to match the parts.

It shows a turn signal connection that the lights don't have and the picture at the bottom makes it seem like only the inside projector is bi-LED (being both high and low beam). Although the mounting point do look like NA lights, as do the lights. Looks like some scramble of NA and ROW. Also no mention of what to do with the DRL harness included.

They do look suspiciously like the Morimoto lights, including all the connections and back side details. Makes one wonder. ?

I have an email into Underland offroad and will what the come back with. If I don't hear from them I will go direct to OLM with my questions.

We'll see, I'm so tempted to install them following the morimoto instructions in the videos. I've heard there written directions are great either.

Just got a very interesting email back from Underland Offroad. He explained that OLM by Coplus lights are infact the same as the Morimoto lights. That Coplus is actually the OE manufacturer for many if not all of Morimotos lights.

He agreed that the instructions leave much to be desired and that they are to be wired identical to the Morimoto lights.

Looks like my plans for install this weekend are still on. ?

By the way Wyatt was very responsive and answered my email right away at 11:00 pm last night. Fast shipping and great service.

Turned out great, love then. Kind of a pain having to tear pretty much the whole front off the truck to put them in. Really have no reason to make any changes in Forscan, as had my fogs as my DRLs already. My issues I did have were my own doing. A couple picture after it was done.

Came across these lights when searching so I searched for reviews of Underland Offroad and your thread was the first to pop up coincidentally! I pulled the trigger on them since you seem to be happy with the purchase and delivery.

Did you follow the Morimoto install video? Is it the same install procedure? Any tips or tricks that you wish you would have known while installing?

How are they holding up so far?

Yes, the install is the same as the Morimoto lights. The physical is the same as any headlight swap in the Ranger. The wiring is the same as the Morimoto lights.

The biggest issue was getting the bottom tabs loose on the grille. What worked for me was drilling a small hole in the top of the slot where the tab goes in, only through the first layer, and using a small pin to push the tap down to release it.

As far as the lights, they are holding up just fine. Really love the sharp cutoff on the low beams and the bright high beams.

I did make some Forscan changes to my DRL settings. I have my DRLs set to include parking lights. I also had had my DRLs set to be my Fog lights. This way the low beams are not used. I still leave my headlight switch in the Auto position. If you you do not have Forscan, then you will need to turn off the DRLs in the Instrument Panel Menus to not have the low beams used.
