Retired, work is a four letter word.
It does do something.....it provides hours and hours of laughter and enjoyment to the people who are selling these and making $128.50 out of each one sold for $129.00.
There trying to come up with another "gotta have it" something or other to dupe unsuspecting buyers into believing that it will provide gobbs of HP, and be the envy of every other owner of a similar vehicle !!!!

It's called marketing !!!
I have another word for it, BS is short for it!

I did not see any differences in MPG or anything. I watch my air intake temps sometimes and that basically confirms it. Idle and stop n go in the street I see 140f in the summer. Not until I am on the fwy does it hit ambient air temps. I kinda expected it, I just wanted it to match the red on the grill.

Man, what lift do you have on your Tremor?

20240726_165706.jpg
6" BDS 2.5 Lift
2" Spacers stacked on top of that, 8" lift total.
CV Angles still perfect

What lights do you have on the front?

How does that thing attach? Do you have a pic from under the hood? What does it replace? I don't get it.

My 2¢:
I have no real-world experience regarding automobile CAIs, but I used to race & tune motorcycles, i.e. velocity stacks, multi-carb balancing, fuel temperature, etc. And I worked for 30yrs testing and evaluating air & water flow system dynamics and their temperature/pressure relationships.

Our trucks already have a CAI from the factory, and I don't want or need any performance gains, so I won't get one, and as I understand it, CAIs really do nothing for a turbocharged engine. Air flow will always be adequate with a turbo, unless there's a major restriction, so cooler air becomes the goal: get a bigger intercooler. This formula shows the relationship between intake air temp and horsepower changes (gains & losses):

HP2 / HP1 = square root of (T1 / T2)
You've got to use Absolute temperatures with this formula, just add 460 to your temps.

You're better off consulting with the members here who have real-world auto experience, but overall I see no valuable gains from low-dollar bolt-on intake performance products.

This guy goes through intake dynamics in general. I found it informative. There are, of course, thousands of these on line, but I found this video pretty straight forward.

Here ya go James. It’s a pretty easy straight forward install.

Well, looks amazing. I tow a travel trailer some weekends so I don't want to go higher unless we sell the trailer. I just have the 1" level, 1" wheel spacers and 33" tires. Basically looks like the Tremor in the Ford app now lol

Those are Baja Design Squadron Sports, love em and only about $220-240. They make for a good ditch light too. My last vehicle I had them as fogs and ditch lights. I don't get to off-road as much as I used to so I just stuck with this pair.

Well, it's not for me, but at least it sucks in air, unlike a fake, stick on, hood scoop. And it's a little bit of bling if that's what you like. It would go well with other red accents.

I got one when they first came out. they were cheap at first. I sold it on here for about what I paid for it. I could never verify an improvement. I also had a high flow dry filter an planned on the upgraded intake that this this is supposed to feed that connects to the airbox. I thought the three things together might add something at highway speeds.

That said it looks good in the grill!

Truck looks great man. Understand the towing, haven't towed a big big trailer yet with mine. Might have to get me some of those lights, I like the look.

kinda just got lucky on that one. I liked the Yosemite plates you can get here in California and the money goes to the national park service. But having a ranger here is mostly awful. Still waiting for the FP tune to be allowed and registration fees are crazy.
Is your Tremor a 2022? AFAIK the Ford Performance tune is legal in CA. Or at least as long as you have a 2019-2021 truck...

2023 so I'm still SOL as of now
Ah man. So ridiculous, same engine as the 19-21 models.

Speaking hypothetically, couldn't you just reflash when it's time to smog test?
