I've got it down to about 99% of the time I remember to hit the ASS disable button before I even back out of the garage. The rare time that I forget, that engine shutdown irritates me every single time. Dumbest system ever. JMO.I'm surprised 2022 wasn't just a frame on wheels.

I assume it's some sort of moronic California law that Ford is following that you can't have an easily accessible setting to just permanently disable it. Idiotic system that's completely useless for my kind of driving.
At least they let you turn it off, even if annoying.

I'm starting to wonder if my modem is bad and that's the reason for the blank FordPass now? It never stayed connected to wifi here or back in AZ and every time I'd go into the settings I'd have to reconnect it. The next time I start my truck it's disconnected again so maybe that's part of the problem. Now the joy of finding a competent dealer around here to service it.No surprise my FordPass app doesn't work anymore and now when I open it the home page has gone blank!
The WiFi and modem are two separate things. Try this. Leave your phone at home, get in and drive away. If a notice pops up on the display that says something to do with location or connected services being active, the modem is OK. I get that message every time I forget my phone at home or work which serves as a good reminder. I'd try to get a picture of the message, but it doesn't show up when I have my phone with me. I would but another issue I'm having is my phone constantly disconnects from the truck every time I shut it off now. I have to re-Sync my phone every time I shut the truck off and I have to go into the Audio section and chose a source (XM) every time now just to get the radio to come on the home screen. I think it's all tied to the Sync update which I now can't do over wifi and need to get a usb drive and try that.
