  1. Cant find tire pressure dash display

God forbid it be listed under "Truck Info"...
  2. Any Kayaker's here?

Happen to have a good purchase link for these? Maybe @Stage3Motorsports? Look absolutely perfect...
  3. Average life of the stock battery?

Happening to me quite a bit as well, also notably over the past few weeks. My battery is the OEM, only 10k miles and under 2 years. Hopeful this might indicate it's the app, if it's happening to others.
  4. Need a quick opinion….

The catastrophic failure that other guy was talking about was pertaining to the horrible Fan Clutch Assembly failure. Your symptoms could potentially be an early warning of just that. Basically if it fails it could destroy that whole wiring harness with some costly repairs. Heres one of a few...
  5. Biggest tires, no lift?

Factory height FX4 with stock sport wheels (17x8.5 +55 offset) just put on some 265/70/R17 BFG KO2s this weekend. No rub at all but it definitely looks like thats the max without leveling or removing the crash bars. Also, holy vow what a difference (for better) in ride quality versus those trash...
  6. Tire Pressure Menu

Long time lurker, recent member, first post. Absolutely love the truck, this isn't a complaint but rather a curiosity, and I'd like to know if this is unique to the XLT or FX4 packages. Why is the gauge cluster tire pressure menu under Driver Assist instead of Truck Info? On that matter it's...
  7. Recovery prep on a XL

Definitely don't rely on the OEM scissor jack. I recently picked up an 'off-roadified' bottle jack for peace of mind. Any bottle jack will out last/perform the factory jack, but I went with SafeJack as they include some nice pre-assembled kits geared specifically for offroad use. Thankfully...
  8. 2020 Ford Ranger XLT FX4

I'm looking at the same. I got all the supplies ready in case it was a bad filter and I need to swap it, but thankfully a proper tightening was all it needed. Ready for the next one though, gives me time to shop around for a fancy drain plug. What really got me is when I called and explained...
  9. 2020 Ford Ranger XLT FX4

After my last dealership Quicklane oil change I also noticed 2 missing clips. The oil filter was also barely hand tight. I noticed a slow drip from the oil chute, and when I finally managed to get to the horrible filter location I bumped it with my hand reaching for it and it spun freely...leery...
  10. List Of Deleted Items

At least they let you turn it off, even if annoying. My first encounter with it was in a 2017 Chevy Cruz and there was no disabling it.
  11. List Of Deleted Items

I'm surprised 2022 wasn't just a frame on wheels . One thing my built February 2022 XLT FX4 does still have is ASS...
  12. Grinding sound when turning left and accelerating

Definitely the nanny pulsing the ABS. When I first heard it I was mortified, and since have learned to accelerate more gradually out of turns. It can be incredibly frustrating when pulling out into fast approaching traffic from a drive that has any grade to it at all. Seems to activate more...
