Finally did my 1st mod to Peepers. This mod come from the heart. My wife passed away from lymphoma Nov 2nd of 2023. She fought for a long almost 2.5 yrs against it. I don't wish lymphoma or cancer on anyone. It robs families of the future. My beautiful wife was my world along with our boys.

Soo sorry for your loss! What a great tribute to your wife. Stay strong my friend. God has a plan for everyone and he must have needed her in Heaven.

Best mod ever, Sammy.
I totally agree on the cancer sentiments as it has plagued my family.

Mine too. I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer when she was 48, I was 21. Not a day goes by I don’t think about and miss her. And I’m 60 now.

I remember one of the first things I did when I took delivery of my truck 5 years ago was to take it to my moms mausoleum to show her. Her favorite color was Blue. So I guess that was my tribute!

That is really awesome Sammy!!! I too have lost a bunch of friends to cancer but no family members. I did lose my Dad to Covid then my Mom 11 months later due to a broken heart and congestive heart failure. I too think about them daily. God Bless.

Sammy,
What a great remembrance memorial and tribute to your wife!

I feel the pain of your grief after having gone through 6 family deaths...my Father from colon cancer.

The last one was my nephew Joshua, age 34 whose life was taken in an accidental drowning in the Rio Grande in the spring of 2022. He was on a 90 day bike trip to northern NM. Josh was a cool guy and we were super close friends...left an empty void in my heart. I put a memorial sign on my bike and we displayed his touring bike at the memorial service.

My condolences. I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer two years ago. Our only blessing was that it was quick, but that we still had enough time to say good-bye; less than two months from discovery to the end of the road.

So very sorry for your loss. I lost my wife of 36 years to cardiac arrest in 2021 so I understand a little. Courage, friend.

Bill, sorry to hear this. ? My wife was one of the lucky 10% that survive a cardiac arrest in Aug 2020.

She was indeed very lucky. Police were at my house in less than a minute with EMS less than a minute behind them but she had already flatlined.

I feel lucky every day.

I had just come into the cabin and my wife said "I feel like I'm going to pass out." I got to her just in time to catch her and carry her to the couch. She was blue, so I grabbed my phone and called 911, immediately started CPR so I didn't pay attention to how long responders took. The fire department is within a couple miles. I had her breathing by the time they arrived.

Everybody, PLEASE take a CPR course. Had been over 40 years for me but anything helps.

Well done. I was an EMT and CPR instructor in another life so I knew what I was up against. That didn't make things any easier.
