Friggin’ contractors leaving their crap everywhere. ;) @subquark is on the way with Soupie’s tire plug kit.
Yep, hang on!

And Duke, you‘ve given me a brilliant idea! I like to think of Soupie as utilitarean, so I should make amagnetic sweeper to hang off the back to suck up nails and screws.

hmm, from Grainger:

Eh, *Puts on flame suit* The frontier's still got my eye. Don't like the direction that the "American" brands are going lately in terms of design, and ridiculous "tech" that I consider bloatware.

That said, Size increase aside I do like some of the design tweaks of the 6g ranger.
Off topic: Nice hat, Jake!?

Washed(wasted time) it, only a basic hose down cause it gets covered in cement dust at work anyway.

But since its spring, did some 303 applications.

Noted my five year Rangerversary . 41,140 miles. This has been a great truck and if I had it to do over, I would absolutely do it again. Right now it is hanging out in the barn . Predicted storms over the next few days that may include some hail. We had some last Friday. Fortunately the Ranger was under cover, even though these small ones probably wouldn't have done much harm.

No point in a wash and detail because we are at that time of year where everything is getting a good dusting of green pollen every day.

See, I knew you all loved me! =p

What helpful answers and, all kidding aside, probably the best answers as this is one of those odd behaviours that hopefully never happens again.

Maybe the truck finally felt bad for that one time it didn't start when I first got it (that dreaded "the truck is dead" which has been beat to death in our forum).

I guess starting by itself is much better than not starting at all. Maybe Soupie and I have become mind melded together! Sorry Soupie, but my brain constitute a downgrade to your programming! =D

i think it was one of those rare sequence of events / button pushes things. the alarm trigger mixed with the remote start may have a sort of priority order of commands to follow in the programming. maybe a computer reset of sorts. sometimes i miss the low tech cars and trucks. never had to wonder about what was happening with those.

Hanging it off the back isn't going to help you though.

I know, it would be like driving a mine-sweeper in reverse but I was thinking more about my tires than his. ?
