Your engine is done. It sounds like a warped or cracked mating surface which means that the head and/or block are almost certainly toast because they are also probably pitted now. Surfacing them will be more headache than it's worth and I'm pretty sure it will sit in a shop corner "waiting for parts" until the cows come home. Time to kick this upstairs.

What did they do to it, other than Head Gasket and EGR Cooler?

Hg twice within 1000 miles, turbo and EGR cooler. Still exhibits the exact same problem that it went in for! Coolant smell and lots of steam from exhaust and misfiring.

Unfortunately, it appears to be a cracked head or block. If coolant is still getting into the cylinder and you are still seeing coolant loss.

If repaired, it may take some time to burn off the coolant in the CAT and may have a Fouling O2 Sensor from the previous leaks.

It ruined my cat and no they didn't even check to see if it was cracked. I'm going to scope it to see if there's any standing coolant in the cylinders this morning.

That's what I'm going for at this point. I no longer trust my truck at all. Or the dealership it's beyond messed up the amount of time it was sitting at the dealership.

6 months without the vehicle should be an easy Lemon Law buyback.

I don't know how I would react in such a situation.

no idea on lemon laws in other states but in TX it is fairly easy to get the lemon law thing rolling. typically just saying it to a dealer gets traction. as much as i despise dealers i assume they want it fixed and out of the way too... they cant be making any money on the situation at this point. maybe a calm person to person with boss at the dealership will get things on track?

I called Ford and started the lemon buy back. The gal on the phone was super helpful. So we shall see what they decide. Should be simple with how many times it's been back for the same reason. And length of time at dealer. I just want a working truck lol
