I've always had great service at @Discount Tire in San Diego (Carmel Mt. Road), so I made an appointment to purchase and install new tires knowing I would be down that way this past weekend. I live about 6 hours Northeast of SD. I arrived Saturday morning just before my appointment and they checked my truck in and answered all my questions. 30 minutes later, I was driving away. Woo hoo! I had purchased an OEM wheel for my spare to match the other 4. Unfortunately, the spare was put under the truck bed with the outside facing down. Needless to say, there were a few small scratches on the wheel where the plate holds the spare against the underside of the bed. Not going to nitpick though as my experience was great overall, and the larger tires look amazing on Ginger.

Your one of many here who have gone with Discount Tire, me included.
Nothing but good reviews for them. Have my second freebie rotation coming up soon.....first one was in and out in 30 minutes.

Discount Tire for life! They gave me a loaner set of tires for a weekend so i could go visit family while my new tires were on order. I'll never go anywhere else.

Agree with this thread. I just returned from Discount after getting new Wildpeak A/T Trails installed on the wife's Crosstrek. I will be getting new tires for the Ranger there soon.

DT is "THE" tire place. I may start calling it the Tire Hutt.
Thank you all for the kind words! We appreciate your continued support!

I've had fair service from DT, but I must admit it's quite annoying that they don't align tires where I'm at so I tend to go elsewhere.

What size did you end up with? I have a set of Trail Terrains on my wife’s Tiguan and they do well! I plan to get a set for my Ranger when the time comes and stepping up to 265/65/18 over the 265/60/18 from the factory.

I went with 265/70r18. I did level the truck a couple years ago, so I knew the added height would accommodate the taller tire.

Not all of our stores are set up to do alignments at this time but the list of stores is growing!

I grew up with my dad driving across town to go to Discount until a small tire shop opened up right outside our neighborhood. We knew the owners and they took care of us. When I moved to the St Pete area, I looked for a discount tire only to find they basically don't exist down here. Weird. Had to go the Costco route instead.
