Fixing to pull the trigger on a down pipe!
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Don't know which two is the best, CVF or SPD
I don't mind paying more for
better quality. There is about $200 plus dollars difference in the two.
Both are T304 stainless. Maybe different cat's??
I have heard about a cracking issue with one on the flange.
I read that somewhere on the forum but did not know which brand it was.
Anyone else with info on these pipes please chime in.

Thanks,

SPD is the only one I see that shows one for the 2023 ranger, CVF only shows up to 2021

SPD is the only one today for 2022-2023 Ranger. I have been in contact with CVF and they say this week for the Catted version. I am waiting for that. The tune shop near me said go cattless but that is my county, more power but it is straight illegal even with a catted DP here. I say go CVF. The Cat Part is the same for less. SPD is pulling some ish.

I did not know CVF was making the downpipe for the 23s, wait for the cvf downpipe price is much more cost effective and the quality is top notch

Yeah yeah. I emailed them 2 months back and replied on a thread 2 days ago about a catless version. JASON said this week they will have chatted version for our models. Something changed on the angles so no DP for Ole 22 rangy till now. Cheer. I guess 450-550. Not GD 800 like SPD.

CVF is great and not ripping you off like SPD. Bet the price drop once they release the 22-23 models this week perhaps. I am getting one of those.

If the tune shop is saying go catless, I vote go else where. Only reason a tune shop should suggest an illegal mod would be if they are too lazy to get the AFR right and know it will be too rich or lean resulting in ruining the cat anyway.

Just an FYI. I'm no mechanic or have much knowledge of engines, but fortunately a lot on here do. I bought a Ford Tune because I have a 7 year warranty and it wouldn't void it.

So impressed with the tune I wanted to buy a Cold Air intake, downpipe, and cat back exhaust.

Was basically told by several other members it would all be a waste of money with the Ford Tune. So consider that as you buy a tune.

Just to be clear, it's going to be up on the site soon (ours). We're just reeeeeally hesitant about having products up/timelines until we can guarantee shipment, but it's 100% coming this month.

Super excited to hear this. Downpipe and exhaust are next on my list of upgrades
