Hello Ranger Crew!

For those who have installed an upgraded down pipe, are you concerned about the radiant heat it gives off?
If so, what did you guys do for it or are you not worried about it?

Whenever I’m driving and I feel more radiant heat, I turn the AC higher and that solves the problem

I’ve had a CVFab catted downpipe on mine for 30k miles with no issues. I thought about insulation because of how the stock cat is when installing and then just left it. No issues and I don’t notice any heat damage. It’s also way smaller than the factory cat/downpipe so there is more space around it.
