Installed the SS5s today. Also hooked up the switched power trigger wire for all the DRL lighting. I still need to hook up the SS2s, but... I have to do a lot of work to get to where I hid the wires. Got lazy today.

Ok... so here is an update on the project I have been working on. Did quite a bit of the wiring, just a bit more, and a sunny day to fit it in the truck.

It is a 300 amp Distribution / Fuse block with switches for all may goodies.

Can you elaborate on the switches?

The ARB switch is for my compressor and the little black circle is a button switch for my under the hood lights.

Funny thing... this all started as I was looking for a nice fuse holder for the amplifier I am adding for the Tunes. Talk about getting out of hand.

Yep, there is a 15a fuse for that in the box.

I don't like inline fuses, and wanted a cleaner way to connect things. At 6 connections, this was a great solution.

The last bit will be trying to get through the two holes in the firewall to route the amp power and a couple wires to my switch panel.

Hopefully it does not! I just could not resist the urge. mine started having more goofy sloppy shifts and slips at around 22k
It’s weird probably something with programming. The transmission itself is supposed to be one of the strongest on the market. The 10r80 is in zl1s, mustangs, raptors, expeditions it was a codesigned trans between ford and Chevy.

Well enough teasing. Here’s the box o shocks all opened up lol. And some small tweaks and redesigns of the spindle face. I want to get it just right before I send templates to be cut

Passed 20K on the ODO in a little under 2 years. She has been rock solid. (Runs and knocks on wood)

Nice! I'm in the same boat on my 22 Ranger. Just recently hit 21k miles. ? Driving up and back down Mount Washington certainly broke the truck in a bit. Can't wait to add many more miles and adventures to it.

Got new tires. Mastercraft Courser Trails. Tread is similar to Falken Wildpeaks.
I might be done buying name-brand pricier tires since I don't seem to get more than 35k out of anything anyway.

Nothing wrong with the Mastercrft brand.....their made by Cooper Tire, and their made here in the USA.
Ran several sets on our previous Subi Crosstrek, which was a daily driver for me, and we towed it behind our motorhome for over 50,000 miles.
Never had a problem with the Mastercraft's.
