I replaced my tires with just under 24K an wear was perfectly even so I didn't have it done an the shop (discount tire) never suggested it. If the wear looks even slightly off have it done.

22,000 miles later the Nitto tires looked perfect when I traded it in. I may go those when the bronco needs tires, they looked new with 22K on them. I always do a 5K rotation with my 5K oil change.

I went with Michelin's CrossClimate2. Love them! I can cross a river and not hydroplane lol.

They don't loo too bad for not being rotated for 20,000 miles but since it's wearing on the inside I'd get an alignment. Wearing a little bit on the outside is normal from turning.

I noticed vibration at 80 MPH, okay at lower speed, I kept forgetting about it.
Then one day possibly an oil change I noticed the left front tire had excessive wear on the right side. About 37k miles. The shop I went to did not expect it needed alignment.
It needed the alignment.

Take it back. You want some Toe-IN on there. If at 0 it will go into a Negative Toe-OUT and cause vibration

Let us know how the LTX’s are. They are on my list also.
I have had them several trucks. Excellent tires! If I wanted a more pavement orientated tire truck tire I would give them a hard look.

Got the alignment done. The tech called me and said "Your alignment wasn't that bad actually, how long had it been since you last rotated your tires?"

LTX tires are wonderful so far. Smooth and quiet. Even drove in some wet weather the other day. Full confidence.

What's the deal with the ride height spec? And why is it 0 before and after when the spec is way into the positive?

I wanted to go with those, but they don't make them for the size I needed. 255/65/R17. I think they did have a size for the 18in rim though. Is that what you have?
My XLT stock tires were 255/65/17 so I went with 245/65/17. I can hardly tell the difference.

It was the largest I could find in that tire, and I wanted that tire :)
I really wanted those tires for the look of them and performance in wet florida summers, but I have been quite happy with the Defender LTX tires now.
