Thanks for the info. I too can't justify the cost. If were travelling and towing could justify it. I used to tow 5th wheels and my first truck and I had a 56 gallon replacement tank installed. Though expensive I loved it. It gave me the range I needed for a single day of driving.

Looking at the long range tank and photos it appears that the tank cuts down ground clearance. I know the Transfer Flow did.

I agree you do lose some ground clearance maybe 1” below the frame rails. But I don’t plan on doing serious rock crawling with my Ranger only Overlanding/touring maybe some technical spots but I can avoid boulders if I choose the proper line. Right now have 10 inches clearance at the rear Running icon leafs option 3 with Bilstein 1500. I have RTT w/additional 200-300 lbs constantly on/in my rig. And if and did need to gain another inch I could run BDS rear shackles to gain another inch in the rear. All I’m saying is where’s there’s a will there’s a way. The tank is not for everyone but I believe there is a market and it is a good mod if you have the means. And plan on keeping the truck.

Yes the best color for sure. Is that the new ranger? If so looks like they are coping Toyota's new look to me.
At great risk to my person I must say Toyota Tacoma has had and still does have the ugliest mug in trucks!

That is the new Ranger RAPTOR, not the regular Ranger.

Yes. This is likely to be my next Ranger (Raptor). I’ll be custom ordering it just as I did with my current Ranger. The only thing that may change would be if we ever see a PHEV.

You do understand that there is zero allocations for the Ranger Raptor over the ONE that each dealer has received (and those have most likely all been spoken for)? The chances of getting a Ranger Raptor in the next 2-3 years is pretty slim, and if you do, it will most likely come with a pretty significant ADM on it.

I'll admit, I'd love a Ranger Raptor, but they are just too darn expensive and who knows when a normal person could even get one.

No hate on it but I can’t stand it, it’s too light of a blue for me personally
I agree. Once you've seen Lightening Blue all shined up, Velocity Blue just doesn't do it. Not the same pop!

Hi everyone! Sure has been a minute. I just can’t do without a Ranger in my life. Sold my lightning, and I just ordered a 24 ranger so I can’t wait for it to get here!

Im still torn on color, as my beloved lightning blue was not available :(

here’s the old thread with my Stitch!

I was in queue for a lightning and going to trade in my Ranger until I saw the 175 mile range on a 100% charge and the price gouging they were doing... No Thank You! I got my money back.

And Ford can't figure out why nobody wants their Lightnings.

i got really lucky, reserved may of 2021, so I paid 44k but got 9500 back in rebates and taxes. Sold it for more than I bought it for. Happy to be back!
