Frank at Stage 3 hooked up a PPE for $262 shipped - so, I’m happy. The bolt holders are cool, but once these things are installed, they’re only coming off to change the filter - which is how often? 50k? 100k?

From a visual standpoint - the PPE looks a bit better constructed. I need to confirm - but PPE is made in USA and Mishimoto is 100% made in China. If that holds any importance to you.

Understand your point about only changing the filter 50-100 thousand miles.
But I tow a heavy travel trailer and plan on a fluid and filter switch every 25,000 miles or so to be pro-active so the holders will come in handy...
Both are great pans, I just like the features and the price wasn't bad either.

I saw it too, the fins are different on the outside and the interior looks similar to the PPE.

The Mishi has 2 more quarts? Interesting. IIRC the standard PPE has 3/4ths of a quart more.

That puts the Mishi between the two PPE pans in capacity...

I'd like to see a differential cover from them that mimics the Banks style since Banks has made me believe all replacements are crap but theirs - but they won't produce one for our trucks.

Yet I get the impression the Ford Performance one that fits our Ranger fits other Ford vehicles?

@Grumpaw - you say 10 quarts? Even with the 2 additional that the pan holds - 8 should be plenty, no?

Thanks alot you guys, for giving me yet another addon to purchase. The Mishimoto has some nice features, captive screws, an oring seal, and a magnetic drain plug!!!
