Mike, got the refund today in the mail! Thank You!

Folks, gotta say........Mike makes a great product and is very honest! When he informed me of the refund I suggested he keep the refund and have a couple beers on me as I appreciated his hard work in this endeavor. No Sir.......he politely informed me he doesn't do business that way and insisted on the refund be sent to me. Folks, this is one honest man running an honest business. There's few in this world that would do that and we have a great member here who is honest and won't take advantage of you!

Mike, if I ever meet you I'll shake your hand and buy you that well deserved beer! -Brian

Just a little tip....
Loop a piece of twine/string thru the U clip and tie it off..... as you try to attach it...it's a bit hard to slip it over the mounting bracket in the video and has a tendency to maybe slip out of your fingers. Piece of long twine will allow you to retrieve it from the deep dark places it could slip to.
After its in place, cut the twine/string off.
If it does drop down to the underworld it usually lands next to your 10mm socket(s)

Yes, I know the feeling there have been times when I have spent 3 times longer. Trying to find a bolt, a washer. Then it actually took to do the job.
One time a neighbor actually came over and wanted to know what the problem was. Why I was lifting up-and-down on the front of the car trying to shake it to see if I could dislodge it from its little hiding place.

Oh Dang, thank you, and I would buy the beer!

But I didn't mean to sound so absolute about it, I just was trying to get the first batch at the same price for everyone, once I put the 2nd half of the first batch up at $10.00 more, I regretted it right off, I did it in a knee jerk reaction from getting beat up by ebay fees on the first round.

Also.... it got used against me over on the competitions FB page, something like "his is $190" and some negative comment, so the refund is also driven by that.

Not to mention, even at $179 for the first batch, now I'm at $159 because I have bought 300 not 60 of the sub components, I feel awkward selling this batch for $20 less, $30 less would have been worse, previous buyers gotta be going "I should have waited" I don't want that.

That is also why, I want all sticks previously sold to also have the new easier to read stick, it really doesn't cost me that much compared to the customer satisfaction, this is a long term deal potentially, I gotta pave the path with happy customers?

So yeah, over sharing a bit, but this deal has become my life, but that's okay, thanks everyone.

So I'm interested in getting this. I was under my truck and saw how stupid hard it is to get to the current dip stick.

Does anyone know if this will cause an issue at the dealership if I want to have them do a fluid change in the future?

I assume warranty is not voided by this, but I just dont want to confuse a service tech. Are the markings on the stick similar to the factory one so a dealer tech knows what level to fill to?

Mike,

I have absolutely no regrets about your price on my first batch stick. And I have $200 in a B&M stick that will never be used!

It is not immoral to make a profit, and the cost of engineering and infrastructure is not trivial. The first generation products always reflect development costs.

I am completely happy with the product and supporting you has been a pleasure.

No explanations or apologies to me are necessary. I am proud to have been a part of the experience. You learn a great deal about a person when you do business with them. And I am happy to have done business with you.

It should not cause any problems, and the markings on Mikes stick coincide with the factory stick.
It will actually be easier for a tech to add fluid as he/she can simply pour the fluid down the tube, rather than using a pump from underneath.
Any tech who knows anything at all would immediately see the benefit of Mike's stick vs. the OE joke.

This has become comical. For the 3rd possibly 4th time. I agree, I would love to not be notified/tagged into this women's locker room aka Ranger5G. Just trying to run my businesses and live my life over here.
PS, yes I was just responding to a post, not really trying to promote on this particular platform.

guy made a point. Both need to work on our SEO. Can't find either through Google.

Have a good one man!
Yet each time you post your promoting your product. Is there a website that you use so we can promote the Fitzstick?????

The only issue I can see is if they have to remove the transmission, they may say "well it's going to be extra to R&R the stick" but at the same time the tech would probably be happy to use it on refilling and checking the fluid level.

The marks like mentioned above are exactly the same as the factory markings, in the exact same spot, that was the the most important thing in designing this stick was accurate fluid reading right out of the box!

Thanks dude!

But, not everybody has the same opinion, this whole thing was kicked off because of B&M's price, had theirs been $89 none of this would have happened.

As far as profit goes, I was actually out of line, me getting pissy because Ebay at 14% fees (including shipping) left me with chump change, my $10 price hike did not amount to much as far as gaining capitol to buy more parts, but it did put me further away from the target of this topic and closer to criticism, which I received accordingly.

I also have to be responsive in a competitive market, most people will absolutely look at price first, then maybe compare quality/specs, I hope to order in even a greater quantity next and get really competitive, so $159 may not stand for long, we will see, the market will reach a saturation point, then sales will slump, especially if a China supplier ruins the party.

I couldn't be happier with the feedback and the support, it's been key in this, I have been lucky to have this forum as a resource, you guys are great!

I'm waiting for hose, once I get a substantial inventory I will pop up the website, I'm not doing a "coming soon", or "out of stock" right from the start.

There's a good reason why if you use to work on any linkages to why they called them jesus clips.

Edelbrock carburetors, the main goal working on one of them in the vehicle is "don't drop any of the clips"
Ahhhh, yes.....
Everyone who has let a clip, jet, nut, bolt, slip out of your fingers and slip down the carb, raise your hand !!!
Then you hear the "tinkle tinkle tinkle" of it bouncing down to rest on top of a piston !!!
Ask me how I know !!!
