21 Ranger Lariat Tremor with 31k miles. The truck has been flawless, it has never been back to the dealership since the day it rolled off.

I'm at nearly 61k miles with my 2019 (bought it used at 22k miles in 2020), and just today i was thinking about how much i like the steering wheel set up. with one hand i can work all of the cruise control related buttons and manage the lane keep feature. they're also all in such close proximity that i don't really even need to move my hand placement on the steering wheel. the buttons are quite tactile (i think is the word) so i don't even need to look at buttons as i do it.

it's such a minor thing, but it really does make driving the ranger on the highway a breeze. there's a lot to appreciate with the truck.

My '19 Lariat 4x4 has been a very solid truck. Have I had a few minor issues? Of course. But not a single failure of any component with 67k and counting on the odometer. Like must of us, the 3-4-5 shift pattern, especially under lite throttle, is not perfectly smooth, but after having the PCM reflash done (per a TSB) as well as a transmission fluid flush and fill it is smooth under most circumstances. Also, to resolve some annoying wind noise around doors I used a posting on this forum that showed how to gently adjust the front doors for better fitment and that resolved the issue. Overall I am very pleased with the Ranger and actually grow happier with it every day I drive it. Perfect? No. But no vehicle made by any manufacturer (yes, even "mighty" Toyota) is...

I've considered owning a car wash as a retirement gig around here.
In the winter when you blow $15 and hit one to make your winter white vehicle change back to its original color, the miles and miles to drive home it gets just as filthy. Wasted $15.

We definitely don't have enough car washes around here where I live
When mine turns salty white I hit the $4 early bird special.

I thought my truck was flawless until I checked in the #1 spark plug well....

14 months and 7500 in, and love the truck so far. tranny has a few hickups here and there (especially when cold but that goes away quickly) but all in all pretty smooth, and i am running the smooth shift tune from unleashed. only complaint is the gas mileage (barely get 16 in town) but i did do some mods that contributed to that

I have had my 2019 4x4 XLT just over 4 years 56K miles on it and the only thing i've had to replace due to failure was the battery in January of this year.

Purchased new 2019 XL/STX with 40,000 miles and towed travel trailer roundtrip CA to AK on Alcan. No problems, except for battery replacement under warranty. Very happy with truck.

I bought the engine cover in June of 2019 I think it was the second thing I did to the truck the first was a damper
Have you checked plug number 1? I've heard conflicting reports if the cover actually solves the issue. I'm thinking about pushing the dealer to give me one under the TSB but I want to see if people with the cover have had this issue.

I replaced mine a bit after 40k - no issues with plug #1 - and I do have the cover.

I've got a 2019 as well, bought it used with 20 000 miles on it in March of 2022. It's been flawless too. The only oddity was when I changed the fluid in both diffs and transfer case at 25 000. All three fluids were grey, they were so full of metal dust. The magnets on the drain plugs had so much metal dust on them they weren't collecting any more out of the fluids.
The only thing I can contribute to its flawlessness is that it's a pre-covid model. If I ever sell it, the Craigslist title will read...... "2019 Pre-Covid Ford Ranger"
And it's a Super cab so it's even more special. :like:

Already tried....They will not "give" you one unless your truck starts throwing codes and calls for the plug to be replaced. Just rust won't cut it and no "freebie" cover.

I bought my Ranger in June of 19 and it's been almost flawless since I got it... Hell I even like my dealer. My question is what am I doing wrong?:LOL::LOL:.
Sounds similar to me. I had a front marker light replaced along with both license lights under warranty. I have the FORD tune and have replaced the rear shocks with Bilstein 5100s. My tires are now BFG KO2s (stock size). I have 10900 mi on my '21 XLT FX4.
Couldn't be happier! :like:
