I bought my Ranger in June of 19 and it's been almost flawless since I got it. Only issues I have had were the parking brake boot (replaced under warranty) and TPM on the right front again under warranty and the shitty floaty ride, I took care of that with Bilsteins 5100 all four corners. Those are the only problems I have had. Now I'll grant you I'm retired and don't drive a lot but it gets driven quite a bit. 25,000 and change on the odometer. It gets regular oil changes and what not. Has all the power I need looks better to me than 90% of the vehicles for sale today. It takes forest service road and what snow I have experienced in stride. Yes there are some things Ford cheaped out on and the dash layout is kind of odd but all in all it's been a great truck. Hell I even like my dealer. My question is what am I doing wrong?:LOL::LOL:.

You are not alone....my 2021 has been perfect....dealer just for the rear headrest recall. Tow a heavy trailer, daily driver otherwise. Drive with tow mode and have no complaints on the tranny. 2 wheel drive Lariat, replaced rear shocks and happy with ride.
No complaints !!!

I've got a 2019 as well, bought it used with 20 000 miles on it in March of 2022. It's been flawless too. The only oddity was when I changed the fluid in both diffs and transfer case at 25 000. All three fluids were grey, they were so full of metal dust. The magnets on the drain plugs had so much metal dust on them they weren't collecting any more out of the fluids.
The only thing I can contribute to its flawlessness is that it's a pre-covid model. If I ever sell it, the Craigslist title will read...... "2019 Pre-Covid Ford Ranger"

You're not nitpicking the truck enough. Have you smelled of your oil lately or measured how high the sides of the bed are ?

That's a big plus for me and the lack of major issues.

I hope you didn't jinx yourself.

Honestly, I think a lot of Ranger owners are in your boat. You have a few years of ownership, but 25k miles is still practically new. Hopefully the next 25K miles are equally uneventful for you.
