It has a wiring harness that piggy backs to the mirror power fold switch and a couple additional wires that will fold the mirrors in when you lock the doors and unfolds them when you either unlock the doors or start the truck. Worked great with factory mirrors, not so much with the Clearview.
If your not aware or didn't look, the ClearView mirrors have their own module, in each mirror, depending on the series. The piggy back module might not be compatible with the ClearView's that are supposed to link up with the OE circuitry

OEM wipers are the only part that I wouldn't use IMO...it was the first thing I complained about and replaced them with aftermarket...this is what I use now and it rocks! $35...
What does this update do? I have thumb drives around but it is it worth it to delete their contents for a sync 3 upsate for our Gameboy screens?Got a new dedicated USB stick for Soupie's updates. I swear when I don't need a drive they're laying all over the place ... Maybe I'll add it to my key chain with a quick connect.
Anyway, mine's the little Sync 3 non-touch screen with no apps or maps, so the upload is always pretty fast. This one was about 10 minutes and was the 3.4.22251 to 3.4.23188 update.

guess it actually completed. but I didn't do that "turn off ignition and open door step". only the turn off and remove stick, so I didn't have that XML file for proof it did the update (not that I was ever able to upload that file on the Ford.com site anyway)
I have the same non-touch infotainment screen in my 2019 XLT and I’ve never uploaded a new version of Sync3. Am I missing out on anything important?
