What did you do to your Ranger today?

Made 4.5 hour drive over the mountains to pickup the topper I bought through the 5g classifieds. I’m super happy with putting the ford magnetic gray on my truck. Exactly matches my rims, bumpers and fender wells trim.

Now I just need decide How to turn it into my camping rig. Been watching a ton of YouTube videos.

First pic was just after I picked it up and second when I got home. Rained all the way home.

? I used to literally pump cow shit from dairy lagoons at farms and spread the liquid CS over their fields. I’d layout 300 feet of 4 inch hose using a 6 cylinder diesel pump with an 8 in intake pipe. The impact sprinkler had a 1.5 inch nozzle that would spray about 150 feet. Then slowly winch it in to the tractor.
I can talk shit with anyone after that.
BTW I used to dip Copenhagen snuff at the time. I would leave home with half a can and come home with a full can… go figure.. job perks I guess..

Had insomnia last night so I thought why not get up at 4:00am and wash it. ?

It was really the only time I could do it anyways seeing it's still scorching hot here and easier to do now than later when the sun goes down and it's 110. Figured while I was at it I might as well hit it with more 303 Graphene Detailer too.?

I have so many points built up at Enterprise I rented this (free) Charger for the day. It was either this or a Chevy Malibu. ? I figured I give MP2 a rest after the long vacation. lol

You don't, but really helps.

Once you undo the top two bolts, you gotta yank the tube from the filter box. Its in there tight so a good yank(pause for jokes) should do it.

Driver side is easy. Passenger side sucks!

Just finished blacking out my mirror lights and parking lights. Was super quick to do, and matches my exterior a lot better. I have the livernois tune arriving tomorrow as well, super excited. Just in time for a camping trip.

LOVE that color! Wish it was option in MY22s but oh well

Yeah I had a "fun" time installing my LED high beam bulbs cause of it.

Next time I have to do it, I think I'll remove the entire assembly as it's easier to do than popping that snorkel out. I miss the old chevy S10s/silverados. Two pins, pop the headlamps out.... Boom, change bulbs in like, 10 seconds.

If you were closer I would. lol I actually love detailing it and usually try to do it a couple times a month. This heat had been brutal this yer and we finally had a morning that was only 82* so it was a perfect time. It was so dirty and still had bugs plastered on the front from our trip so I had to foam it twice.

Today, I changed oil and filter, rotated tires, installed 20 McGard black lug nuts and 4 Advance Wheel lock black lug nuts, removed 3 of 4 skid plates and power washed the underside of my truck. I'm going to replace all the hardware for the skid plates, so they didn't go back on.

And I ordered a Fumoto valve to go on with the next oil change.

Hi folks, new owner of a 23 XLT Tremor (had it a couple weeks, and I'm really loving it)
thanks to Ford Credit rewards points, I put in a bed mount swing-out storage box, the sling to keep my dog in the back seat, and burned off points and got the first aid kit and roadside assistance kit. I also just finished installing the smoked Ford emblem, front and rear. If I may add, I don't think it would be possible to include more vague instructions, and the front was a royal pain in the back side. (I did find the video somewhere here which showed how easy the back replacement was). While working on the front, I managed to drop only 2 bolts and 1 plastic clip retainer, too!
No pictures of the rear right now, it's too dark out to take a decent one

Installed my Magnaflow Overland exhaust today. Bit of a pain in the ass since I’ve only done exhausts on motorcycles previously and had to go buy deep sockets and a hanger tool, but pretty happy with the end result.

One reason I really like this exhaust is that you can adjust the sound level with parts they include. I left off the NDT resonator and just capped the extension pipe off the muffler for now, so if it gets annoying or my wife starts getting irritated with me I can quiet it further. Sounds good right now though! ?

How do you like it, since you have some time on it?

Considering one, but I am not quite the exhaust installation specialist so I may need to find a friend who is.

-btw, I am in the East Bay too. Near Concord.
