I bumped another older thread about a week ago on a similar topic and got no response (it was my first post here on Ranger5G). So I'll bump this one and hope to get an answer. If not, off to create a new thread.

Here's the problem: I can't seem to find anything in the shop manual that addresses removing the upfitter switch pod.

So here's the question: did you remove the pod? Process? Suggestions? Start at the back?

Thanks, in advance, for any advice.
Yes, I did remove the upfitter switch pod and no there there is not enough slack in the harness to relocate the upfitter switches. The upfitter pod is held to a frame by clips and was pried out with a plastic trim tool.

I used an Autometer gauges pod mounted to a non Tremor tray that has clips in the same location so it was a simple snap in.

I appreciate the reply. Thank you for the info.

I saw a different post about removing the console tray and noted the OP had the same problem as I did (which prompted my ask): the front edge seems to be held in place via a hinge (at least that's what the OP and I encountered). So prying it up with a trim tool from the sides/back must be the way to go. Glad to read you had no problems. Again, thanks.

Cheers.
