Since I've owned the truck I've had the shakes, shimmys, vibrations you name it.
Been putting it off last year and a half. Last week it got real bad, like the truck bucked, surged, coughed and kicked.
Start out from a red light I had to "2 foot it" as it wanted to die, when starting from a stop.
Here's the crazy thing, anything over 40 and it runs about 95% fine, I'll get a shake when I accelerate to say, pass on the highway.
Zero to 40 and the truck runs like total shit.
Today the check engine light came on.
I just did roughly a 200 mile trip to my parents, got home and came to work this evening, gas mileage was 23.8 when I pulled in the parking lot.
I'm hoping its the EGR mentioned in the other thread.
I'm at close to 34,000 so I won't have to dip into the paid side of my warranty thankfully.

I'm about to start changing that thing every 25k miles...

My truck is juuust about 3yrs old and has almost 20k miles and I had to replace mine. It wasn’t throwing a code, but it definitely runs better after replacing it.
