I normally am not an influencer.
But with the new G6 ranger and the type C connection I wanted to see what was on the market and got this for under 10 bucks today.

Two type C Plugs,, and the conver still goes down. Upgrading the wife’s iphone8 this weekend.

Finally cracked and ordered a rack. Arrived recently (not quite “today”). Sadly missing the t-nuts to mount the front windscreen. Installing soon.

If you have a swear jar, throw $20 in it before you get started ;)

If I were doing it again, I'd order some extra plus nuts and have them in hand before starting. The silver riv nuts they supply were crap.

thanks for the advice. I have not heard good things about the install. I already have a deposit on the sweat jar. In addition to forgetting the t-nuts, they gave me the wrong length cross bar for under the wind screen.

Most of the install isn't too bad, just the plusnuts, especially the aluminum ones are aggregating.

You'll need to have some sealant on hand, it doesn't come in the kit. I can't remember exactly what I used, but something like GOOP Automotive, Permatex gasket maker, or similar.

Also a 1/4x20 die thread cutter to clean up the threads on the plus nuts install bolt. If you don't have one, a few spare 1/4x20 bolts will do.

The bright side is, once it's on, it is awesome.

Good luck!

Got this snorkel scoop from Velossa in the mail yesterday and already installed it.

Great product, you should see a slight gas mileage increase, I noticed.3-.5 MPG increase after installing one.
