Show yours, if you have this issue

While cleaning out some debris between the bed & cab I noticed the drivers side gap is much more than the other side, is this normal or common?
Other than looks (to me) any thing to be concerned about alignment being off
Looks to be roughly 1/2” on pass and 7/8” on driver side.
Not looking for a dealer trip so I guess I won’t look at it.

Well there you go...looking for perfection in a pickup and now you'll never un-see it lol...don't check and see if your bed is offset to one side a little more than the other...that'll really ruin your day...

mine was all crooked everywhere.
panel gaps, bumpers not centered, it was a shit show.
this guy was the QA on the line for the 2019's.

Well I didn't get too anal about the measuring but seems to 1/8's of difference at most.

Shocking, really, considering the build quality of my truck.

What ever you do don't measure the lean to the left especially if you have a full tank of gas. You will never unsee it. ?

I work in Quality in Manufacturing and I am astonished that a vehicle of this size and complexity EVER gets out of the factory with anything lined up well. Despite my job which is to look for problems and try to make sure everything that we build is perfect, I have a lot of grace for anything coming out of a factory that is not heavily automated. And it seems like the automotive industry still relies on a lot of people to place components and wiring.

Dont check the hood to fender alignment either, front bumper alignment, or the mirrors.
