Thanks Brian! I have to say everyone we talked to was right in that this is one of the best NP out there. It's not all that large but the hikes and scenery are awesome and we still have so much to see.
We've been to alot of places on the Harley........Smoky Mountains.....Rockies.....Tetons......Glacier NP.......Glacier is even more spectacular IMHO!.......not taking anything from the Tetons!

What an adventure you weren't expecting.
Isn't that the truth! I was telling Annie last night that I just wanted her to see a moose. I've seen them many times up in Maine but her being a city girl she's never seen one. She liked seeing the moose but once the bear came I've never seen her so scared. What was funny is before all this she was walking really slow and kind of lagging behind me because she was tired and her knee was getting sore. After seeing the bear she was keeping right up with me. lol

The drive up through Montana is God's Country for sure! Glacier is stunning! Hopefully the Road to the Peak is open.....88° at the base and 36° at the peak when we were there!

She will have a great story to pass along, I just hope this won't keep her out of the woods in the future.

She'll be fine after a shopping trip.

Actually her knee is pretty sore so tomorrow we might do a rafting trip and then go into Jackson Hole and grab lunch and she can shop a little. Then there's no excuse for Wednesday for more hiking.?

The upper part of The Going To The Sun road is still closed, it usually doesn't open until early July. But you can still get to most of it from the West and East entrances just not all the way through yet.

All these areas (ID,WY,MT) are so nice and full of amazing scenery! I'd love to move up toon of them and would in a heart beat. I just wish it wasn't so darn cold there. ?

Thanks Steve. I was walking back to it and noticed how nice the white looked with the mountains behind it. I told all of ya that once I got a good pic I'd change it. But I still think deep down Tracy @Tracy Bowman really liked this one the best. ?

Today we got out early and went straight over to Mormon Row. It's a historic district from the settlers back in the late 1800's with a lot of the old buildings and barn still there.

Thanks Tracy. There's amazing views just about everywhere you look here. What's nice is they change so drastically from sunrise to sunset even though they're the same mountains.

I told ya I'd change it once I got a good picture. But I still have the other one waiting in the wind for special occasions. ?
