Look at those miles racking up. Probably have to trade it in when you get home. I like the blue, shame the truck doesn't match. You know us blue guy's we have to rub it in. Nice truck anyway.:like:
I figure by the time I get home the transmission will be on its last leg and the oil level will be at the top of the dip stick.:lipssealed:

Trust me I wish I could change the color to red. Once you know who sees this I'll never hear the end it it.:wink:

Also, thanks Rick @Rp930 for suggesting that we stop at Dicks Hamburgs while we were in Spokane Valley. It's an old 60's type walk up burger place which was a perfect place to grab a good burger and fries before heading on the road.

I think Kristina @Kristina would've had a heart attack though. We had to eat in the new truck while driving.o_O The place we were staying at in La Grande,OR has a check in deadline of 9:00pm so we didn't have time to hang around and eat there. No worries Kristina there were no crumbs anywhere I checked once we stopped.:inspect:?

Speaking of...

hamburgers....

Did you notice that the passenger side sits about 7/16" lower than the left rear door? Oil in the filter for sure...;)

he gauge is showing 22.7 but I need to fill up today and add it to my Fuelly app to see. I'm sure it's off from the factory (most are) and I'll have to make the adjustments like I did on my '19.

I started at 944 on my '19 and it takes about 6+ tanks to set in.

https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/fuel-calculator-adjustment.2996/
yesterday I was driving down the highway, cruising at ~90ish and the instant fuel gauge on the dash said I was getting 6.8 mpg . . .

After a long journey it’s finally over and I’m so glad to be moving on from this mess. I’d like to thank all of you for all the wishes and support and it really did help get me through this. Also thanks to those who messaged me and those who had some VERY kind offers. Like letting me use one of their vehicles if they were closer, picking me up at the airport if I were to fly into their area for a new truck and then there’s Kent @Radioman who kindly reminds me this would’ve never happened in Payson. ?

The dealer here in Spokane Valley is Corwin Ford and I can’t say enough good things about everyone here! My salesman was David Low who was so great to deal with. I saw the truck on their website on 4/16/23 and it said “In Transit” under it. I was in no mood for a young know it all salesman so I looked on their site under “meet our staff” and found the oldest guy in sales. lol I’ve found in the past the “older” guys usually don’t make you go through the BS and are old school and cut right to the chase. His was so true of Dave and he kept in touch with me the whole way through. While it was a way out of the way to travel up to WA it was well worth it especially after going through everything with the accident.

So know I’ll shut up and introduce you to Money Pit 2. ?

Sweet new ride, I'm sure the Tremor suspension will be an upgrade. Sad to see another Sabre color off the road, but I suppose the white is a better choice for all the sun down there in the southwest.
There is only one Sabre truck here and it is named Butterscotch!

best,
Phil

including spending an extra grand on plane tickets to save that penny. lol
When I bought my subaru I flew from Georgia to Maryland and drove back with my new car.

I still ended up saving ~2k over what the local Georgia dealer was willing to sell for...

I much prefer the look of those seats to my seats...

XLT doesn't have the microsuede the full depth of the seat, only put to mid thigh...

It's still bland and white, but it's not bad.
I agree that the Lariat Tremor seats do look nicer. The only advantage to the XLT ones is the vinyl on the bottom outside bolster might hold up better over time when your sliding your butt over it getting out everytime.

I don't get it.
What does a picture of a parking lot full of Tacoma's have to do with Dave's new Ranger?
Hard to type this without my glasses. Everything a bit blurry.

Pin stripes! Great idea, Dave's new Tremor really needs to set an example for all of us on the forum.

How about a patriotic look?

A few observations after driving 260 miles. The suspension feels really nice and I can't wait to get off road with it. It's way better than the Fx4 and a lot smoother than the Eibach I had. It'll be interesting to see how it is once it breaks in more but even going through the downtown area where the roads were very bumpy it was plush. I'm super happy I went with the Tremor package.

I love the seats! I was nervous because I always loved my leather seats in my '19 and was afraid these might not be as comfortable but they're even better.

The negative so far is that the heated seats don't seem as hot as my '19. I use them all the time as a heating pad for my back and after flying it was killing me. I had them on high the whole way and it's like having them on medium on my '19.

The verdict is still out on the tires. They definitely hold and throw a lot of stones as that's all I could here when driving around town before I got up on the highway. They're a little noisier than my Toyo's but not obnoxiously bad. I thought I might change them out for another set of Toyo's once I got home but I'll have to see once I get home and have some more miles on them.

I know it's only a truck and it might sound funny but man I felt lost without my Ranger! Even Annie said "it's good to see you smiling again". Thank you all as I've always said this forum is like no other and while we might not always agree on everything in the end we all come out to help another member in need. :like:
I will be very interested in hearing what you decide on the tires. I am also not a huge fan of the General Grabbers, but I don't have a lot of recent experience with other comparable tires. The Grabbers do toss a lot of gravel, and they are the loudest part of the truck on the highway for sure.

Play with tire pressures to help with the ride. I am down to ~35 psi and the ride is softer. Also one thing you might notice is how fast you go over a bump effects how the suspension reacts and feels. In my neighborhood if I got <15 mph the stuff in the bed does that kerthump over a speed bump, if I hit the same speed bump at ~30 mph there is that kerthump... I believe it's due to the valving in the fox suspension and the multileaf rear spring....

Ymmv

When I bought my Tremor used with 3K miles, the tires were at 35 psi, and I really liked it that way. When I rotated them again at 9K with the next oil change, there was noticeable cupping on the front tires on the second row of treads I believe.

After rotation, we filled the tires to 39 psi and reset the light. The ride is definitely a bit harsher, and the Grabbers with the cupping are clearly louder than the two tires that had been in the rear. I am hoping that this calms down as they wear.

That said, I will run 39 psi from now on with these tires.
