I just passed 1000 on my odometer.
Brought her home 12/26.
At this rate I estimate I will have 2500 miles by year end. 10 years ago I drove around 5000 miles a year. There's a pretty good chance I'll still be under 100,000 miles by the time I die.

Q: What differentiates grown up from child?
A: Price of their toys.
And still the same endless arguments why life can’t continue without this specific new toy…

I've had my 2022 Ranger for 8 months now & it has 142 miles on it. My F250 is 23.5 years old and has a whopping 29,884 miles. I suspect I will be long gone before either one hits the 50K mark.

Went and picked up this Chevy corporate 10 bolt front axle. Going to convert a cheap van I bought to 4x4.
Floof is seen here checking it out.

So, did you bring it home?
No. (Probably it means "not yet") I'm in no hurry at all.
Hood struts and engine cover deleted by Ford, tailgate torson bar still there. With tailgate damper added by dealer. Made sure for me there will be nothing with 2 doors and no option to order from factory. So if you want longer bed - use a trailer instead but don't push this truck's limits too far if it's not a diesel.
Brakes are better, 10R80 switched so smooth I didn't notice even one change. I recognize them all on my Wildtrak. Matrix headlights. The "TV" screen appeared not to be disturbing at all. Front and rear "refrigerator" handles to hold on while entering to truck. Additional airbag between driver and passenger.
Parking camera system is improved, for me it was strange first time, 2 views at the same time. It was easier to park with mirrors. Rear windows come all the way down.
Bang and Olufsen sound system is amazing.
More about sound. Of course I had to try this noisy exhaust noise version ? But while at parking lot you hardly notice engine working. ASS worked more smoothly and it's not in deleted items list any more.
Truck and tires were good on wet, I was on 2WD and accelerating powerfully, it still acted stable.
No problem to install winch if you have sensors there.
I guess I am not going to tell about acceleration and suspension work?
I loved the truck. And those wide "hips" on this truck were funny :giggle:

The one who dies with the most toys wins.
The one who dies with the most toys....dies.
Enjoy them while you can because you can't take them with you.

What I did WITHOUT my Ranger today...Vacationing in Estes Park, CO, and rented a car at the Denver airport. They told me a SUV is cheaper so I said OK. Turns out it is not an SUV but a truck and being in Denver, not a COLORADO, it's a new Nissan Frontier. I can't say I like it and I can't say I dislike it. So far getting as good or better mileage than my Ranger, but I like my interior better. Had it up to 8,700 ft, on didrt road only. It does steer hard, and has no nav or even Android auto which sucks.
At our hotel there is a Ranger Excellence Conference, but they are Park Rangers. And the lot is full of Super Dutys, Sierra's, Silverado's, Dodges, but no Rangers! I'll have to apologize to Pepper when I get hme!
