Reolaced the windshield, caught a rock west of Indy on I 70, had a local shop do it and the calibration as well. $250 deductable.
Windshield $1282, calibration $200, other parts and labor $210.
I attached the calibration readout for those that might be interested.

This is one mesmerizing truck, I imagine it was washed before this picture, but still. That shine is undeniable. (almost) wouldn't even want to drive it.
Yeah, the Truck and color is like she's ready to party.

I went to my dealer and got some oil change, was going to do it my self but they only charge me $92 for a full synthetic. Anyways saw a Bronco Sasquath waiting next to my Ranger and a New FX4 Ranger in the show room. The color green looks nice.

I'm sorry, what? "only" nearly a $100 for an oil change?
it cost me about $65 for parts and then I have to dispose of the old oil. Grease monkey is $140. It’s worth it to let the dealer do it. I did the diffs, transfer case, and transmission because it saved me $1000+ on labor, but the oil is reasonable. Plus, if I have a problem, I can use the fact that they’ve done the oil changes since new as a bargaining chip. I’ve seen that work on warranty issues.

I spend $50 to to it myself, The dealer I use charges roughly the same.
Then take it down to Oreilleys and have them recycle it.

One of the few cheap services left around here I guess...

Wally World...any of the better 5w30 synthetics run $24-$27 bucks for a 5 qt jug....I'll get 3-4. (Pennzoil or Valvoline)
Motorcraft 910S is $4 bucks on Amazon...I buy 6 at a time.
Figure it costs me$35-$38 bucks to do an oil change.
Old oil goes in an old 5 gallon gas can and recycled when full.
Plus, I'm under the Ranger....can check for anything else, loosey stuff, bit of rust forming somewhere, ect.

Need some help here — I just bought the 4 LED grill light kit from Stage 3 and am going to install it when it gets here. I know it plugs into the marker light so it won’t be on all of the time, is there any way to tweak with ForScan so that I can program the marker/grill lights to be on whenever the DRL’s are on? Sounds like a wiring nightmare I want to avoid. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

You can change the DRLs to be the fogs. Check out the Forscan thread.
