Wasn’t bad at all. Did it by myself in my garage with simple hand tools. I left the skid plate that TJM provided with the bumper in the box and opted for my Aluminum RCI to save on weight. Pretty rad bumper all in all.
Definitely. Now that I've had them out on the trail for a month or so, I believe that 255/85R16 is the perfect size tire for this truck from an Overland point of view.
I love them. In fact I’m on a new set as of a week ago. 255/85/16 this time around. I really haven’t noticed any difference in the truck due to weight.
I lost a Dust Cap off of my 16'' steelies on my last trip. Does anyone know where I can find one for less than $40 shipped to m y door? Does any one have a single or a set they'd like to sell me? Cheapest I've found is $30 bucks with $15.00 shipping. I just cant bring myself to spend $40.00+ on...
Installed a Smittybilt winch on a 589 Fabrications mount and a full set of RCI skid plates. Amazing craftsmanship from both companies and I’m very pleased with everything I installed!
It’s a scrap metal original from Shane’s garage. Piece of angle and a piece of strap welded together, cut to shape. Drill 4 holes in the bumper and put in some threaded rivets (or just use a nut and bolt). You got yourself a light bar. The US bumper is steel, so it works quite well. ?
I ordered mine factory direct…But ya, it took a couple months to receive it. I think it’s worth the wait. 589 was super easy to work with and had really good communication.
