If they do get it fixed then no claim for LL exists as I understand it.
Then I can get rid of it on my own.

Last evening 04-05-2023
Go to pick up dinner. Start truck, it dies when put in drive. Don’t worry still have rotating wheel of codes and faults. This is the new prize I won!
Let sit, start again, noting, dead as in no battery dead.
Let sit, starts. I drive it a few miles down the road get food.
Leave the diner, no codes/faults drives hope.
Hour later, I need to run out again. Truck will not start with the key. No battery dead again.
Truck WILL start with the key fob though. Key in ignition, turned to run. Dies.
Repeat process twice.
Get in the GF’s Honda to run errands.
Pass another tremor and have a good laugh to myself.

How does your lawyer feel about you engaging Ford corporate on Twitter with videos of your truck acting up?

He told me since they have the parts on order, I have to let them make the attempt to repair it.
I called this morning and told them the situation. They said the parts are in.
I'm going to go out and see if it will start and drive. I'll remove the neg. terminal and let it sit like the tech did and see what happens.
I am going to be firm on them checking the battery while its there and ask for all paperwork associated with this whole debacle. So far I have only received 2 pieces of documentation from this dealer.
One is an actual letter head type invoice everyone is familiar with. The other was just a print out of all the codes they found. 2 pages of codes. This here seems kind of stupid to give me. As in here are the damn problems but we have done nothing about it.

I have never twitted before, have no idea how to do it. Like that stupid tick tock, I've never be a "look at me! look at me!" type.
But the attorney did say I should start videoing things and the pictures I have are a good start.
I will run the twitter thing by him. I guess the idea would be my problems being public it might get them to respond?
To be fair I have not contacted ford yet. 1. I see it as a dead end. 2. I was trying to give these guys a chance. And after this repair I'm just done with them and call ford. Hope this is a one day fix and I can get it back Friday afternoon and drive it over the weekend and see what happens.

I just cannot believe all this is tied to an ABS module.

We are birds of a feather in that regard. I also do not tweet or tock... I sadly suggested that because I understand that is how companies listen to people anymore. Calling on the phone is usually an outdated number with a confused person answering on the other end.

Video evidence is always good in my opinion. Regardless to whom you end up providing it to.

I despise any "social"ist media... but if you want the zombies to look and listen you have to use it. the reach is fast enough and far enough that any company wanting to keep customers will respond. Unlike the ford customer care line. it seems to be just a line where they pay some person to get complained at and take rude callers and deliver the script - take it to a dealer - i can help you find the dealer near you - on permanent loop.

So went to drive it to the dealer, wouldn't start. Then it was like an old vehicle when the starter would stick. Finally got it started.
2 new codes for my trouble!!
Air bag fault and the lights above the heat control showed the airbags deployed.

But this is all related to the ABS per the service dept. Asked directly to check the damn battery and ignition on top of everything else.

And just like that I knew the shit ranger would not let me down.
Got in it to go home after work And all my old friends were waiting for me!
And it started the 2nd time I turned the key.
I’m off Wednesday I guess I’ll call ford and this lemon law attorney and go from there.

I wish you would stop referring to the warnings in a general way, friends and FU lights don't tell us a whole lot about the sequence of events.
Why is it so hard to list them all, from the first that pops up, until the last as they appear. It could be a moth to a light on what is causing your problem
But you seem set on walking away from the truck one way or another, so it probably doesn't matter.

What I do not understand is why OP has not taken his Ranger to another dealer. This malady has all the hallmarks of a wiring connector and there are procedures for which to to search for electrical integrity.
