Hey Dave. Have you tried Sanderson in Glendale? Before we moved out of there last year, I was able to get appointments within a day or two of calling.
Not yet but I've heard they were great to deal with (both sales and service) and was going to call them today. Thx!!
I just got off the phone with Sanderson Ford and they could get me in as early as Monday. I made it for Wednesday because I have some stuff going on before that. I'm not to worried about it now that I drove it all the way back home without any issues but we are going on another road trip in June so better to get it checked out and be safe than sorry.

Thanks everyone for your replies!!!

Scary....something must be in air! I was posting earlier on the transmission thread.....went out to my daily driver Hyundai Kona Ultimate.....low and behold she does nothing when shifted into Reverse.
Drive seems fine but Reverse is no bueno....I have a service appt for Friday morning..... :explode:

Glad I have extended warranties on both my vehicles.....
All this talk of engine and transmission problems is bad juju!!!

Good luck Dave. The covid (lazy excuse) has been beat to death by businesses. They tell me I need 5-7 days to wait I'm bringing a tent, a mini-stove and a couple of my chickens and setting up in the waiting room, see what they say then.

I wonder if a dirty engine air filter could contribute to the problem.
I had just checked it last week along with my oil and both were clean. I only have about 8K on the air filter and the oil had no fuel smell. :lipssealed::bandit:

I just thought about it but I'm also wondering if that recirculation/ blow off valve might be having a problem? To be specific the OEM ones don't necessarily like more than Factory boost.
Random underboost problem that didn't come back with a factory bov and a tune. If I was gonna shotgun a part that would be it.

Off to research better BOVs....
