Tremor is just another Ranger trim level so yes...same problems...at least for those who have this issue...I'm not sure what this clunk is all about...

The Tremor has a CV joint mount at rear diff so it is different than the others. That’s the reason TW doesn’t make a one piece d/shaft for the Tremor

I think the CV would be smoother therefore cause less vibration at the carrier bearing. Also zip tying small sections of fuel hose is the slots on the carrier bearing bushing works wonders. I have done it on other fords. Never looked at this one but I probably will do it eventually.

Not really, it is an option package that you can get on either the XLT or Lariat trim.

Right...like a more expensive version of FX4...

The clunk is suspect. It could be a dry slip-joint or the hard downshifting/upshifting between the first few gears. The issue seems to vary based on user sensitivity and specific truck. I think I am sensitive to it, and that my truck has this symptom moderately. Others might not be very sensitive to it/their trucks have the symptom more or less severe.

I drove with a service writer that asked me to recreate it for him, and the best parameters I found were to act as if one is slowly coasting into a level parking space using zero throttle. As the truck is downshifting, there is a "lurch" or "bump" or "clunk" that is felt. I am not sure if it is driveline slop from the two piece driveshaft, transmission issue, or a dry slip-joint, or what I suspect in my case is a combination of all three.

I have since lubed my slip-joint and performed the re-program TSB for the transmission and the "clunk" is not as pronounced as before.

Just a generic online picture. But see those slots? Put something in there equally in all areas and throw a zip tie all around to hold it in place. If this solves your issue you know what your problem is. Will also allow you some time before replacement. I will be trying it to see if I do have any vibration that I just do not notice. Just a cheap old-school trick.

Another option that has been successful for me in the past is to fill gaps in isolator bushings with RTV.

I don't have any of that. Let your dealer straighten it out.

Maybe I should have been more clear on the question. Since Tremor has different springs and shocks, rides higher on different wheels and larger tires, has a different d/s joint, etc. I wanted to know from this particular community about the driveline issues being more or less or same on Tremor as others.
