Corporate drone. Dilbert's world is alive & well.
It's funny. Flying the Canadian flag from a truck in Canada would get you labeled an istaphobe in seconds. Glad to see a country can still show patriotism.

Maybe, maybe not. Sadly our flag has become very much a political statement. To the point that I'm hesitate to even fly mine on historically typical flag flying holiday's. Used to never miss flying it on certain days. Always took it very seriously. Lately I've not put it up at all. Never dreamed our beautiful flag would become politicized. Sucks. Sucks royally.

Yeah it’s a shame when people will criticize you for flying an American flag. It’s bad enough that I could probably assume how someone voted based on if they fly a flag or not. This Country is becoming very separated. Years ago it seemed it didn’t really matter someone political views on whether or not they flew a flag. Everyone seemed very patriotic regardless of politics. I’m not necessarily speaking for everyone as I’m sure there are many patriots on both sides of the isle but all the interactions I’ve had it’s been American flag vs how dare you fly that monstrosity. It’s very saddening to me since I love this Country and would be willing to die for it. It’s given me every opportunity to succeed and with some of the other countries I’ve been to, I realize we have everything here and how lucky we all really are. So very lucky IMHO.

We need to go back to the days of all schools first period class everyone stands and does the pledge of allegiance. There was a flag in every class room. I can still say that verbatim with my eyes closed and it's been a long time since school days. It sure is a whole different world out there. Very SAD. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Only two problems with that…

1 - Mrs. DukeCanBuildit would likely object
2 - It would probably get caught in the ceiling fan
Not if you put it behind the shackles you have hanging in the corner.

I agree, but to play devils advocate, we are a much different country now. Who's to say you have to believe in "our" God to be a true American? (in the pledge) People come here for the freedom and opportunity. IMHO, a true American is about doing what's best for the country, and supporting it. Yeah, I know there's more to it as well...

I won't put an obvious USA flag on my truck mostly due to the current political environment. It has become a symbol of hate by citizens that actually hate the country they live in. Sad times we live in now.
It's more common and accepted to see Mexican flags on vehicles here than USA flags.

I have looked at getting a full rear window decal in a ghost flag pattern.
