I was able to use 42000 points for $210 in accessories which gives $0.005 per point. The oil change should have cost you 15000 points.

My oil change was 19348 + $75 for full synthetic

Did you have all 42,000 points left in your account? Every point is worth 0.005 so 19,348=$96.74 for the initial service so that's what they charged + $75.00 for the full synthetic so a total of $171.74. I don't know which package you got from them but it sounds about right.
