Finally got my 285/70/17 Wildpeak's and RTR Tech 6's (17x9, +0 offset) mated and installed today.

Ready Lift intrusion beams installed.
Ford Fox 2.0 level kit.
No rubbing.

TBH, the +0's ended up poking out a bit farther than I would like, but I do have RTR fender flares to install so that should make it look better.

Looks good, can you throw up a shot down the side to show the poke?

your flares should either fully cover it or leave a tiny little bit poking but it should look good! ive got a bit of poke with my 275s on 0 offset and i plan to run rtr flares eventually as well to cover em

Just curious if you have installed the RTR flares yet, and if so, do you have any pics. I was about to pull the trigger on these along with some new wheels, but would love to see how they look with this setup if possible.

RTR sells a +30 offset wheel. Thats the correct offset for the Ranger. Not only will it keep the tire inside your fender, and save both your paint and everyone else's windshields, but it will also provide the correct scrub radius, which will keep handling tight.

I appreciate it. I will likely go with a different brand wheel and it has 1.5” spacers on it currently with factory wheels and a 3” lift. I am not wanting to go backwards and am looking for a similar or just a slightly wider/ agreessive stance, which is why I may be interested in flares. Sort of the raptor feel but nothing overboard.I can be honest that it’s 90% for the look at this point

Same combo, different rubber brand, Lund OE style flares. Leaves me with about 25mm of poke, not much

I'm sure on paper the scrub radius this and handling that, but I have serious doubts what amounts to 1" + width on each side means jack all in real world use.

These are not sports cars duking for lap time records. Don't take the sky is falling comments for anything other than general educational information.

Taking anything out of factory spec (that includes lowering or raising via suspension) has detrimental effects as far as an engineer is concerned.

I'd argue due to the height and weight of my very specific equipment, 0+ offset is far better off than 35+ from a tip over threshold.

I am going to 255/85/17's in near future.

Yeah, your truck will look better if your tires stay inside the arches. The factory wheels with 1.0-inch spacers achieve this.

thanks for your perspective. Right now, as is, the 285’s poke out a bit with the spacers, so at least moderate flares could be beneficial. And I would venture to say it still looks good with them a bit outside. ;) To each their own, which is what makes personal touches and mods great, and I am definitely not trying to go with some crazy amount of poke that seems to be all the rage these days.
