It generally only happens when it’s colder than -20 (freedom units) but it was only -5 last night, so I thought it was interesting. It’s caused by the ice crystals in the air reflecting the light emitted from street lights and such…. Or at least that what the government says….?

Yikes - I think it has more to do with that evil skull figure in the clouds than any ice crystals. ?

Looking out my kitchen window just now I spotted these hot air balloons flying by. They take off from the Goodyear airport which is about 2 miles east of me.
