I believe that is where the Lane Departure feature is shown, as well as the "following too close" indicator if you have the ACC.

If you have the Lane Departure feature you can enable it by clicking the button on the turn signal and you'll see "lane markings" in that display I believe.
Ahh, you guys are correct, it does show the lanes. I think Ford is still missing some functionality of that feature though lol nothing major, just a silly thing I've noticed

Hey y'all, happy Monday! I have a question for those that have received their 23 Ranger already, or have owned a 19-22 model in the past...

I am unsure if this situation is unique to my truck, hence why I am asking, but has anyone else realized how useless this feature is on the cluster (see above shot of truck outlined in red)?

I feel like this feature should display doors open, headlights and tail lights on, and tailgate down, but it literally does nothing lol. Nothing about this feature changes day to day as I drive. Even my girlfriend's 2017 Escape cluster has a more engaging feature here, like showing doors open and lights on.

Has anyone else noticed this? Or maybe theirs are actually useful? Curious to hear what you all see!

New update. Was originally scheduled for week of 2/6/23.

Now says in production, but also shows 2/10/23 now.

Not exactly sure what it means...

Yeah, that's kind of odd. Check in with Ford Chat and see what they have to say.

I just logged in to find the exact same situation, I’d be curious what you find if you contact them. But as of today “in production” but 2/10 date when it was originally (moved to) 2/6

Welllllllllll: I got bored and Talked to Ford Chat. According to them it's a different way of saying that our order has been received, but the build date is pushed back to 2/10

You’re going to get another email here very soon and your things going to change to built in transit. It will change all of a sudden at the end of this week. I am sure.

I've been lurking here for awhile trying to make sure a Ranger was what I wanted. I'm a long time Ford 150 owner that trades trucks every couple of years. I sold my last F150 Platinum during COVID to cash in on the stupid used car market. I bought a Mustang GT to "play" with for awhile but now I need to be back in a truck. I finally found a Ranger close to what I wanted to test drive last Saturday and the rest is history. I placed my order for a '23 Lariat Tremor with the tow package. I received the order confirmation from Ford Tuesday. So, the wait is in. Hopefully it won't be anything like my wife's Bronco was. It was a first day reservation, first day order that we finally received in December of '21.

Congratulations on getting your order in for the Ranger. This is the last generation of this ranger and 2024 will be the new version that has been already been out overseas. You got your order in now you’ll get notice of a build date probably within the next week or two and then it moves quickly. I’d say the build typically takes about a week and a half then they place you in another build queue and then all of a sudden within a day or two it’s finished and being Sent Ford has been pumping these rangers out here towards the end and they’re doing way better than they were before the Ford rangers are manufactured in Detroit Michigan plant so I would honestly in my opinion have to say that the Detroit Michigan plan is more efficient than any of the other say in Mexico or etc.. So congratulations you got a nice top-of-the-line truck. I think you’ll enjoy it. I drove an F150 for many many years several of them actually, and when I got my other Ford ranger, it was just more comfortable and more efficient and fun

5 1/2 months into the process (ordered 8/10) the most frustrating part so far is the railcar that contains my Ranger made it to its final location to unload the truck 2 weeks ago and its still sitting there 1 hour away from the dealer waiting for a semi trailer to load it up to take it to local dealer. According to the local dealer Ford controls/handles the delivery of the truck to the local dealer as part of the destination charge.

If you seen all the news stories talking how the Maverick sales are murdering the Ranger sales and the Ranger sales are way down.... I think is due to Ford not producing enough Rangers. My local Ford dealer has ZERO 2023 Rangers except for 3 that are "in transit" 1 of which is mine and presold and I expect the other two are presold as well.

I live here in Orlando Florida. If anybody wants to order a Ford ranger I can recommend they go to Sunstate Ford and speak to Mick. They will make sure that your order gets put in immediately with a priority code of 10. My truck is actually on the rail headed this way faster than I have ever seen.

I believe that logistics plays a big factor in getting deliveries delivered to customers and dealerships. With the ongoing issues with the shortages of truck drivers, the weather issues it’s been cold, and then the rail strikes they were going on that have just resolve themselves in the past couple months I have put off a lot of people.

I am very fortunate after being a part of this group, and reading some of these posts to have such an honest dealership that has taken our business years ago and has kept it for many years due to the honest knowledgeable team at Son State Ford.
